Socks n Crocs

I just received my Off Road Crocs yesterday and wore them at work that night to get a feel for them. I like them very much, even with out any sign of an arch on my foot there was no pain. Now, I'm one of those weird OCD people and have to wear socks with shoes. I don't even really wear sandals that much. And as we're heading to the World in August I don't want to have nasty smelly sweaty sock covered feet. So, my questions is, can anyone recommend a nice light weight sock that will keep me sane, and my feet some what dry?

I love Smartwool socks! They wick moisture away from your feet. Cotton socks do not.

They are cool in the summer too.

I like the looks of those Monkeyfeet so I may pick up a coupla pairs. Any other ideas? I gotta try my crocs without socks again tonight and see for sure if I won't go completely crazy.

I agree. I wear the little tennis socks that you can't really see over the top of the sock. I try to buy thin synthetic ones as bulky socks tend to "stick" to the croc, but I wear thin cotton ones as well either will work..

You must not wear your Crocs with socks! You must not wear them on the docks! Please, please keep those socks in a box! If you wear the Crocs with socks....your fashion style will not rock! If you wear your Crocs with socks, folks will laugh wherever you woc (walk). Do not wear them in a park! Do not wear them in the dark! Do not wear them here or there! Do not wear them anywhere! You MUST not wear your crocs with socks!

(Just kidding! I've been known to wear my Keen sandals with socks....whatever keeps those blisters at bay! Olay!)

I like the coolmaxx ones they sell at target , I wear them with my crocs and my sneakers , since I have been wearing them in my sneakers no more blisters, they are great. I do also wear the thicker ones with my crocs they dont bother me, but they are definitely the ankle socks, unless I am wearing jeans . I have found that different brands of cotton socks slip down my heel with crocs.

I'm going to pick up a few different pairs to see what I like the best. As I have a little while before we go, I think I'll be able to make a decision. Thanks for all the great ideas...even though I realize now that this is on the wrong forum page.
