Social Security????

I have been rec Social security disability Ins for a few years, My question is I have a son who has Aspergers, he is able to collect Social Security benifits? If so how do I go about it and will it take as long as mine did to get approved? I would really like to get him more help (outside of school) but everthing is sooo expensive. TIA for you help

I would go to the nearest SS office and they will give you an application or you can now go online to file. The rules are getting harder and harder so it will probably take awhile depending on your area...

I have been at it (for myself) for over 3 years and have to go before a judge. I hired a law firm. I read under 10% win w/o a lawyer in the final appeal.

I was still denied with the ALJ, but it went up to appeals because he used the wrong file to make his decision!!!
It has been 1 year since appeal
