Okay so i dont kno much about soccer, but i was wondering is there any relations between the US soccer team and the word philips?
Sorry if this is not very clear but do those words together ring a bell? What do they mean. I mean the US team is not named philips is it?

Not that I know of. Then again, I pay more attention to intl football.

I mean intl by outside of the US. Quite frankly, most US soccer teams stink. Hard.
I don't pay attention to it.

True, but the US does pretty well for a nation that doesn't even care about the sport. At least they don't dive as much as the Mediterranean/Euro players, that's a good thing.

::yes::
I think the national team is good, it takes A LOT of hard work and dedication just to qualify for FIFA.
The individual clubs stink butt tho.

Don't get me STARTED on the diving. Ooooh it annoys me to no end!

Philips is just the sponsor for the US National Team. In soccer, especially in international soccer leagues the sponsors are usually printed on the front of the jerseys. For example, Manchester United's sponsor is "AIG", Real Madrid's is "bwin.com".
