SoCal October School Breaks

Can any of the SoCal locals please post up any school breaks/holidays you may know of in your area for October?

We are going to be there the 13-19th and I am just trying to figure out if certain days will be better to go to the parks than others...

Utah's UEA School break is Oct. 18-19. The entire state is out of school. You may want to plan accordingly. A lot of families do head down over the 4-day weekend.

It doesn't look like there's many furloughs during October. So, probably nothing to worry about in October.

Some of the big districts including Los Angeles Unified School District are doing the whole Thanksgiving week off, so that Monday-Wednesday might get interesting.

I know that in Utah County the districts have their break on the 11, 12, and 15th. So it looks like there are a few different fall breaks within the state here.

I love it! A whole state off at the same time. Sounds like a huge party!

Some Phoenix area schools have Oct. 8th-12th off but most have scattered days off in late Sept. Oct. normally isn't overly busy at DLR except on days with the Halloween party at DL that night or the days right around Halloween.

There are 2 weeks Phoenix area schools are off for Fall break. Oct. 6-21 will likely be pretty busy. We went for Fall break in 2010 and it was really crowded. Surprisingly so. But the Fall decorations and Halloween stuff was pretty nice. We ran into many of our AZ friends there. its a great time though.

The Chula Vista School District (San Diego County) has Sept 22 - Oct 8th off.

Nope just UT county chooses to do things differntly for the fall break *things are a little off down there Weber and Ogden and the SLC *several in there* districts - which are big ones all have the 18th and 19th *my kids get the 17th as well. We're going the following week ~ 23-25 of Oct.

I'm curious ~ what on earth is ***** out under your user name ~ Longtime Disney Geek....
