SoCal City Pass at Disneyland?

Do you use the card that city pass sent in the mail to get into the park and for fast passes? Or does Disney give you a new ticket on the first day you use the pass. We also want to upgrade our ticket to a 4 day. How would that work?

You will need to go to a ticket booth and exchange the voucher for a ticket, it then will work to get into the park and for fast passes. I am sorry I dont know it they will let you upgrade to a 4 day pass or not

I thought if you had the hard plastic pass then you could go directly to the turnstiles.
There was a recent thread about upgrading the city pass though. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2752786 Value of $186 can be applied to any upgrade done before the end of your last day.
