Ok so here's the deal...

My SoCal AP is blocked out all of July till August 19th.

It hasn't even been a week since I've been to DL, but I'm already having withdrawls and counting down the days till Aug.19. It seems soooo far away.

I had gotten used to going once or twice a week with either family or my friends. Now I don't know what we are going to do on Sundays?!?!

Anyone else know what I'm going thru?

Sorry, having a hard time joining your pitty party since we only get to go 1-2 times a YEAR! Consider yourself blessed to live to close to DL. :duck:

Aren't there any nice beaches around there? I would head to the beach on Sundays! :beach:

Yes actually that's what we my friends and I did this whole weekend. Went to San Clemente on Saturday, then a yacht wedding in Newport yesterday, then went to Hunington Beach for a bonfire.

LOL yes, my original post was more of a "how spoiled we are to go once a week".

You can buy block out dates for 30- tickets. and if you upgrade to the next level, which is from 124- to 154- I believe you get in. Dont quote me, but call the number on the annual passes pamphlet they gave you, it has lots of info.We have the so cal passes too and will be upgrading when we can afford it.:tinker: I totally know what you mean though, we just came back from going on the 26th and I am totally Jonesin to go back already.:ccat:

Well, I'm not as lucky as you to be able to go 1-2 times per week, but we do try to get there once a month during non-block out dates! I am going through withdrawals as well! I made DH take me one last time at the beginning of June even though I knew it would be crowded, but it's a long, dry, non-Disneyland summer for us too! :grouphug:

we have the deluxe one, but really thinking about downgrading. We went yesterday and I forgot how miserable it is in the summer. We don't usually go during summer break anyway, so I think we will go for the SoCal one. Thing is, I think ALL Saturdays are blocked with that, and we do live an hour away so it will be harder to go during the week!

I have a Prem. Pass and I refuse to go on weekends during the summer and it's still the perfect pass for me. I wasn't able to go for two months and it was killing me but am much happier now that I finally got to go last week. :cool1:

I could have written your post. We got used to going at least 2 times per month and now I'm having major withdrawls. Everytime I see a commercial for DL I want to go. We have Disney music always playing in our car and I just want to head to Anaheim. This will be the longest 2 months in history!

So you're not alone!!!

two words... Premium Pass then you won't have this problem :)

Yeah I should have just bit the bullet on the Premium. Do they refund you your $59 extra parking fee if you upgrade your soCal pass to a Premium? That way it would save me some $$$

Yeah we just got done watching our Disneyland DVD. It's like reliving a day at the park. lol http://www.relivethemagic.com/pd_all_of_disneyland.cfm?RID=5656&TID=66

I was thinking about buying the one for Disneyworld as well, anyone seen that one? Looks like a good deal with 16 dvds http://www.relivethemagic.com/cat_dvds.cfm?RID=5656&TID=58

I've never been to WDW so that would be cool to see!

LOL maybe that'll hold us over till our next Non-blackout date... August 19 seems soooooooooooo far away :sad2:

EXTRA LONG LINES!!!! :)

I thought about doing that until I was told the price. I about died right there.
You can buy tickets for $30 on blocked days anyway.

But there's a reason they're blocked out. As mentioned by Albort - the blocked days are peak crowd ones and the lines are longer than usual. And in July/August the last thing I want to be doing is standing in line with other grumpy, sweaty people for a long period of time. XD Sounds more like the Post Office than Disneyland.

Although I'm having the withdrawals too.
I'll just be patient and chill at the beach until these months pass!
