Soaring - The Best Place to Sit

Now that we have an additional 30 days of riders on Soaring I am just wondering if B1 (first option) and B2(second option) are the preferred seating locations.

Interesting. I didn't realize there was a problem with the new film from different angles.

We rode it 3 times this month, but all three times had middle seats.

I've sat on the ends with the old film and don't remember it taking away from the experience.

I am extremely afraid of heights. The Soarin over California did not effect me at all in any way. I loved the top row. But with the new Soarin around the World (which I absolutely love so much more than the original) I cannot look at the first scene of Matterhorn. It is way to scary. Also the Eiffel Tower scares me if I am in the top row. So now my favorite row is the bottom middle. Really just bottom row anything section.

The first time we rode the new Soarin we were front row all the way to the right. I was actually in the last seat. Because the new Soarin has so many man made buildings the screen curve and very evident. The Matterhorn looked a little funny but it was difficult to tell be The Eiffel tower was more like the letter C. We started asking for anywhere in the middle (B) section for all the other rides. I'd rather see feet than a curved tower.

We did get to ride in section B front row almost in the middle one time.

On our last trip we made a beeline to Soarin at RD. This was to be our first ride on the new Soarin!!!! As we were some of the first ones in line we were put in the A2. I looked back and saw there was no one in B. I asked the CM if we could be moved to B and he said yes. I instructed the people blocking our way to move over to B so we all could ride in the middle. They looked at me like I was crazy. DD and I had to bull our way through them to get out. We rode B1 right in the middle. PERFECT seats.

WE like B1 or B2. B1 doesn't have feet above and has the height, but B2 gives a better view of the screen itself (you are dead on centre). So we like both of these locations. For anyone with a fear of heights, I would choose B3. Also, my DS gets queasy on this ride and finds row 3 slightly better (I'm not sure why?)

If you are in section A or C, try to get seats located near section B (the middle block of seats)

ABC refers to the concourse (block of seats), 123 refers to the row, with 1 the highest and 3 the lowest.

ABC refers to the concourse (block of seats), 123 refers to the row, with 1 the highest and 3 the lowest.
Minor update on the terminology - "ABC" are the *Gate* designations, while the "Concourses" are the theaters themselves. (And just to add to the confusion, they're *also* labeled "ABC"!)
So if you wanted to tell someone exactly where you sat, it might be concourse A, gate C, row 2, seat 4.
