To you people that have already experienced Soaring, about what is the youngest age you seen riding?? I have 2 small grandchildren that have seen the free planning dvd and they seen Soaring on it and are very excited about riding it. I just don't want to get their hopes up when they may be too young. They are 5 & 6.
Thanks

They're not too young at all!

For smaller children, they will have to place the lap belt through a loop in the middle of the seat. I do recall the sign stating that if you don't hit a certain mark on the back of the ride, then you need to wear the lap belt. DS8 didn't meet the height mark on the seat and had to put the belt through the loop, but he was fine w/that. I am sure that 5 and 6 yo will be enthralled w/this as my 8 yo was!

Have a blast!

The very first time I rode Soarin I was seated next to probably a 3 year old and he loved it. If they meet the height requirements I say go for it.

It's not about age. :teeth: Just check their heights. Height requirement @ Soarin' is 40in.

My 3 year old rode it. Also her just about 5 yrs old and 6 years old cousin did.

All of them loved it. The 2 girls (4 and 3) really loved it! And the 4 year old was nervous about many rides and Soarin was one of her favorites.

Definetly go for it if they meet the requirement. I would think most 5 & 6 year olds will enjoy it.

My daughter rode it at California Adventure, so I'm not sure if it's exactly the same or not, but anyway, she was 4.5 and loved it.

Have fun!

My 5-year-old rode it in May and she was impressed. She loved it and was not scared at all.

My 7yo & 5yo both loved the ride and made us ride twice. My Wife who is afraid of heights hated it.

My 5 year old son went 3 times on this ride, he likes it so much. I went once with him and was holding his hand tight because I have a slight fear of heights and the feeling of flying overhead is so real. Cool ride so the lines are fairly long. Remember to get a Fastpass, ride the living with the land boat tour, and you can probably get to Soarin Fastpass line quickly.
