Hi
Just wondering -- does Soarin' really take your stomach a lot? That dropping feeling? I can do most rides, but I really don't like that feeling that I'm free-falling. Or is it pretty mild? Also, for my husband -- he doesn't love heights too much. In your opinion, should we just both skip this one?

I know you can't know for sure. Just looking for your opinions based upon your experiences.

Thank you!

soaring is very gentle it dose move some but nothing too bad ( it tilted you some front back side to side very slowly) There is one part that makes you fell like you are going down kind of fast then up. as fair as being scared of hight I think this is up to the person. I do not like hight but I can handle soaring ( took me a few times not to hold on for my life) but I do know some that have had problems with it. can you watch a youtube of it to get any idea of it

I think soarin' is very mild. My mother will ride it and she won't go on much. She hates big thunder mountain, won't do star tours, tower of terror, mission space, space mountain etc. As far as your husband, ask a cast member if you can sit in the back row where the seats don't go off the ground much. It's a great ride, definitely worth a try.

oh and by the way the bag row goes up 15 feet the middle row 30 feet and the front row 45 feet.

Thank you! That sounds great. I will keep our Fastpasses for this ride!

I'm not a big thrill ride person. Soarin' does give me a little tickle in my tummy, but one I can cope with. To me, it's similar to the feeling I get on a big ferris wheel; nothing like a free-fall feeling though.

I do suggest your husband watch some youtube videos. While the seats may not be physically far off the ground, the screen gives the illusion that you are much higher. If he has trouble with heights, it may not be the actual distance to the floor but how he responds to that illusion of being above the treetops.

Enjoy your vacation!
