Soarin' is one of my favorites, on its own merit and because it appeals to such a wide range of ages. SimonV and I rode it 6 times in soft opening, and we met a man who was 80 years old and was riding it for his 26th time. A few rides later we met a 3 year old from the UK who was riding it for the first time. He went with his Dad first, then Mum (who was waiting behind with the baby). He was silent through the whole ride with Dad, then told Mum every detail before it happened on the second ride. Priceless.![]()
Oh, that's great.
My family LOVES Soarin'. One reason we love it is because it's just a nice, imaginative ride that any age, including my mother at 74 and son at 6, can ride. Although I do love the first row the best, I love the other rows also.

IMO not the best that Disney's done.
Although I will admit that this is the first I've heard of there being smells incorporated, too. I honestly didn't smell anything. I suppose if the line is really short next year, I might ride it again just to try to notice the smells. Otherwise I'll skip it and not think twice about it.
