I got terribly sick on Mission Space. We went on Mission Space when it just opened. I had no idea what I was in for! :sad2: After that ride I was sick the rest of the day.
Is Soarin anything like that?

TC :cool1:

You dont really move on soarin. The fan and projection screen make you feel like you are moving. Thats how I understand it from tv shows, and the boards. I havent actually been to disney yet.

Soarin' is incredibly gentle. I am a motion sickness kind of person and I lovelovelove Soarin'!

You are suspended with your feet dangling in front of a giant screen. The seats gently tip and dip according to the visual on the screen. If you ever dreamed of flying, this is it! :sunny:

I never plan to ride MS again. Made me feel ill the rest of the evening. Loved Soarin'. Nothing like MS.

No comparison. MS is a thrill ride, Soarin' is just cool. MS will ruin your day, Soarin' will make your year.

I never rode Mission:Space because of motion sickness fears. On Soarin', you do move some, but it is mainly a simulator. There are 3 rows of about 20 seats, and they shift when the movie starts. It is a very mild ride, and a lot of fun. Get there early and get a FP, when we were there before Christmas, the waits were 200 minutes.

Soarin is nothing like Mission Space. Although I am an AVID Space buff and love MS, I would have to be honest and say Soarin is the most awesome ride experience I have ever had. There is nothing like it. Last year when we went on it, everyone around us would get off clapping and say that was the best ride ever.

The ride itself just hoist you up about 20 feet and moves with what you see on the screen. Otherwise, it is a sensory overload. I  Soarin. :cloud9: :cheer2:

In my opinion Soarin is the best ride at WDW. I rode it last summer with my 14 yr old DS.

We agree with ROBO. Soarin is a wonderful experience but a bit too short.

Comparing Soarin' to mission Space is like comparing TTA to Test Track.
