Hi all! Booking FP's tomorrow and I need some expert opinion :)

We are planing a rope drop at Epcot, where we will head to Frozen Ever After and then the Elsa & Anna M&G right after - no Fast Passes (using tier 1 for TT).

Later in the week I will have the opportunity to book one more FP at Epcot - part of me is thinking of booking Frozen Ever After, just in case we don't end up getting on for some reason earlier in the week, and the other part is thinking we should FP Soarin' since we aren't hitting it at any other time during the trip. Am I worrying unnecessarily that Frozen Ever After will be a problem? I mean, rope drop on a Friday in May - barring a technical issue, we should have no problems getting on, right?

Thanks so much!!

If you're getting to Epcot early and heading straight to FEA, then I would make the FP on the different day for Soarin.

If you head straight to FEA at rope drop and walk at a decent pace you should be on the ride with a 0-30 min wait. It won't be bad.

Thank you! Yes, we will hurry back there :)

I would book the second day FP for FEA in case it is down the day you try to rope drop it. If you get to ride it the first day at rope drop, you can change the later day FP to Soarin. Soarin has pretty good availability these days.

I would use the FP for FEA. Soarin' is pretty easy to get on w/o a terribly long wait. FEA is not. We used both our of tier 1 FP for FEA in January, and we still rode Soarin' 8 times between the two days. If we hadn't had the FEA FPs, we would not have ridden it. Whenever we walked by, the wait was at least an hour. We don't do rope drops, though, and we stay until park close. Soarin' is soooooo easy to ride at night.

Edit: Also, once you use up your three FPs for the day, you should be able to still snag a FP for Soarin'. Not usually the case with FEA.

I agree 100% with this. We experienced FEA being closed twice on two different days back in December.

Thanks everyone! Went with Frozen Ever After, with the hope that I can switch to Soarin' after our first day in Epcot :) Thanks for all of the advice!

I have a FEA booked for our last day just in case I can't get on it earlier...if I do then I will do another FP for that day.
