Soarin' shut down in November?

Just wondering if anyone has been on since this closure? Thinking there would be a whole thread if they had installed the new soarin over the world movie, so wondering what this was for then?

The sound system was apparently completely replaced. When we were there on Saturday, they were only running one side of Soarin', probably to finish installation. Anyway, we went on it twice. The picture is the clear digital film that they added earlier this year. As for the sound, I honestly couldn't tell a difference from our trip in June. The jet planes still scare the crud out of everyone. Maybe the sound was cleaner and it's been so long that I just can't tell the difference. But it's still a good attraction. Nothing has changed. Still over Cali.

As an aside, when we were there from the 8th through the 12th, I stopped by Soarin' on a daily basis to ask the CM's if they were aware of any rumors of a potential soft opening. On several occasions, I made a passing comments about the lack of notice, and was told by multiple CM's (at different times and on different days), that they knew the closing was happening "long" before DL posted it on the calendar.
