Soarin Rider Swap

i know rider swap has changed since last year. How does it work for Soarin? Last year they didn’t allow strollers into the pavilion so they didn’t actually see the child when we got the rider swap tickets. How does the person with the child get the swap ticket added to their magic band?

Strollers were not allowed into the pavilion when we were there in August, we were asked to see the non-riding child when we went to Soarin.

Honestly, they have not been terribly consistent about anything concerning rider swap and everything at Soarin was a debacle that day so I won't be surprised to hear responses that contradict this either.

My guess is it will depend on the CM. Some will likely require you to take the child out of the stroller to bring in the pavilion. Some will probably take you at your word when you explain (ie if child is sleeping and you didn't want to bring them in, etc).

We have never taken a stroller into the Soarin building, but have always taken the baby out of the stroller and brought them in so we could get a rider swap. We usually time that ride for a time when they are not sleeping so we know it will be easy to bring them in.

They also need anyone who will ride in the second group to be there to scan their magic band/ ticket card. In my case, we wouldn't have had anyone left to stay with the child outside in the stroller anyhow.
