Soarin' Over Walt Disney World!

My devious suggestion: photobomb the shot. Get a bunch of Disers to meet up all wearing glow sticks for the night time shots or matching tshirts for the daytime shot and stand together to spell out "DIS"

Would love if they made it "Soarin over Florida". Like the California one, it would have disneyworld in it but also other features of Florida instead of California.

I don't know if Florida has enough changes in scenery or iconic views to be able to carry a film like this by itself. California has everything from mountains to beaches to deserts. There's only so many Florida beaches, lakes, and flat sinkhole marked land they can show.

This was my thought exactly when I read of this. I would like to see the varying landscapes of the entire US represented (coastline, orange groves, snow-capped mountains, farmland, KY horse country, Niagra Falls, etc) with the CA one ending with the fly-over Disney Land and the FL one ending with the fly-over Disney World! But then, I'm not the one footing the expense of filming this. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyone else already wondering how soon before we might see the fruits of their labors?:rotfl2: DH and I are coming in November but this will be our last trip for about 3 years as we are doing an East Coast coach Tour next year for our 50th birthdays and that should clear out the bank account for a while...:sad2:
DH is also hoping they will still keep the California film too-just clean up those awful scratches and dirt on the film!

I almost wish that instead of a Soarin advertisement for WDW, that they filmed an East Coast type of film....maybe from Niagara Falls down to Florida ending in Walt Disney World. Or even West Coast to East Coast.

I just think that everything they do is an overt ad for Disney. Too commercial for my taste.

The analogy I can give is when they turned the Epcot Mexico boat ride into a cartoon. So sad.

My humble opinion.

I'm excited about this new film, but sad to see the old one go. I love the orange grove scene and the smell that went with it :goodvibes. However with the new one, how cool would it be if they made it 4D. I think it would make it that much better.
