Soarin Over California

Has anyone been on Soarin Over California since it came back on 3/4/2022? I'm excited to see it back and looking forward to experiencing it next month!

Just a note, the film quality is showing it's age when comparing it to Around the World.

Well, I guess I’d rather watch a good old movie rather than a lame new one.

They could always clean/remaster the California film, but of course that would cost money, so I doubt that will happen.

It was moved to digital film right before Around the World debuted, but it would be nice if they remastered it.

Ugh, they do need to remaster/rescan it.

Too bad there isn’t a nearby large, well-capitalized movie studio/entertainment company with the expertise and experience in film restoration and multi-format releases to do it.

We rode it twice on March 4th and it was so fun and nostalgic. So glad I happened to have a trip planned during this!

I wish they’d keep it around! Sadly at this time they say it’s only till 4/26/22.

Soarin’ Over California will be available for guests to enjoy from March 4 through April 26, 2022, as part of the celebrations for this year’s Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

Part of the reason I prefer the California version is that I think the scents are better.

Bummer. We arrive on May 1. But the family we are taking has not seen either, so it will still be fun.
