Hey guys. Couldn't decide where to post this thread as it fits onto the main board as well. I might as well put in in both.

So my Mom gets motion sick very easily. She went on Soarin' last year and was fine.

So she wants to know if she will be ok to go on The new Simpson's ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. I'm sure some of you have been on by now. And if for whatever reason she felt nausous, would she be ok to just close her eyes?

PS- She is also afraid to go on Star Tours for the same reason. I told her it is very dated and nothing compared to Soarin', but perhaps you guys could confirm. Thanks!

I think Soarin is a great ride. I will not ride Star Tours since it makes me feel icky. The Simpsons did make me very sick. Much more than Star Tours ever had. I don't get motion sick, but this ride makes me feel terrible. I do not suggest closing your eyes. You will still get the motion part of it. Just not the visual. If I was her, I would skip it.

I went on both when I was in cali last month. If she feels sick on star tours then she will for sure on the simpsons ride. Its very jerky. Much more then star tours and sorin doesn't even compare. So she should probably avoid it.

I personally liked the simpsons ride the most out of all the motion simulaters. I liked the extreme movements it generated. I kinda got bored on sorin.
