We just can't work out our schedule to be in Epcot at Park Opening any day we are there. We will spend a few afternoon/evenings there and have fast past + planned for one evening there. We currently have a Soarin fastpass and plan to just standby for Test Track. ( In the afternoon and NOT single rider ) Is this smart or should we do it the other way around?? This is for the 2nd week of August.

Thanks!!

Erika

We are in similar position. I plan to try for Soarin fastpasses and dh and ds will do the single rider line for test track. We have a four year old who obviously can't do the single rider line so unless we get super lucky and the regular stand by line is shorter than usual for some reason, the four year old and I will just miss test track. I'm not sure she would like it anyway and I love Soarin so it's my highest priority attraction for Epcot. Anyway, the single rider line at test track is the main reason we will try to fast pass Soarin and stand by test track.

Eta. Sorry I missed your no single rider line. I have heard that many people think test track is still better stand by because the line is more interesting than the Soarin line.

Since you plan to be in Epcot for a few afternoons/evenings, why not schedule a Fastpass for Soarin' one day and Test Track another? We did this when we visited the parks in May and it worked out well for us.

Thank You. I thought of doing fastpasses for both days, but really....TT and Soarin are the really the only two rides we care about at Epcot. So if we waste two days worth of fastpasses from a different park, then we miss out on the other park. I really just resolved myself that we would just wait in one of the lines. Just wondering which one has a better chance of being shorter. I just love walking around World Showcase at Epcot, fortunatly, we don't need a fastpass to do that!! :)

I decided to book Soarin fast pass, because there just seems to be longer waits here. I also took into consideration that it seems like Test Track is always breaking down, I do not want to be upset about a fast pass not being used because the ride is not in play(have read constant reports of this happening)
So the plan is at RD ride Test Track standby, then hit all our Fast pass rides.

Not sure if this helps, but thought I would share because I wrestled with this choice too. Epcot needs not 1 but at least 2 more rides. I find myself only going to this park a day and 1/2 compared to past trips when I have always gone 3 days. The tiering thing is a total turn off.:rolleyes:
