Soarin or test track first during early entry?

Our DS is finally tall enough for soarin and test track. We’re gonna do just a morning at Epcot next Monday and trying to decide which would be better to head to during early entry to get the shortest wait? If we can get both done that would be awesome. I’m just not sure which to do first.

Test Track. Wait times for Soarin’ fluctuate a lot and there’ll be lower times throughout the day. TT wait times seem to hover higher and the ride has a tendency to go down.

(I assume you’re not interested in single rider for TT which does cut down on the wait time.)

OP says their child is just now tall enough to ride. Their child does not qualify to ride at Disney without a guardian so single rider is not an option for them.

Thanks everyone! What can we expect for a wait time if we head to test track right away?

Children can ride TT without a guardian when the child is age 7 or above and tall enough. For TT the height requirement is 40”. A child aged 7 that just reached 40” would be allowed to ride TT as a single rider even though the child is just now tall enough.

I don’t see the age of DS in the post. He probably isn’t 7 or older yet, but you never know.

In other posts of theirs, the OP says their child is 4 so they would not be old enough to use the single rider line.

Gotcha. Minimum age is 7 for the single rider line anyway but I agree with the other posters about rope dropping Test Track instead of Soarin.
Do you know how long the wait usually is during early entry?

Thanks. It looks like it jumps to 45 minutes pretty fast. I guess if we notice the wait being too long we’ll go to soarin instead. He’s also tall enough for mission space now and wants to try that
If you're there before rope drop then TT is best. It will climb but doesn’t go back down often the way Soarin’ and Mission Space do.

To be towards the front of the crowds, it’s recommended you arrive at your resort transportation 90 Mins before ETPE begins.

Another vote for Test Track.
Not only does the line get longer throughout the day, the ride stops when it’s bad weather. So if it’s a nice weather morning, do TT so it’s done in case it rains later. (Our last trip we couldn’t do TT due to rain).
Have a fun trip :smickey:

My vote goes to Test Track - just make sure to have a back-up plan and be ready to pivot.
