Doing my Fast Passes this morning and Soarin' is my absolute favorite ride and have not done the new one yet but we have also never done Frozen.

It's just me and my husband and I don't know which to choose?!! Please help me....I want them BOTH!! LOL

We are arriving that afternoon so early morning rope drop is not an option.

Thanks!

Also - Soaring fast passes are easier to get later in the day. We fast pass Frozen and get 4th fast passes for Soarin. What we do at rope drop depends on our mood.

Of the two, I would FP Frozen, and do Soarin' at Rope Drop, where you can easily expect to get on in under 20 minutes.

I might be in the minority here, but I would choose Soarin. It's our favorite Epcot ride hands down. FEA is great for Frozen fans and it's a nice ride, but it was nothing spectacular in my book.

Seeing as you can't do rope drop and will be arriving in the afternoon, Soarin's lines get long throughout the day, and never seem to let up.
It seems like the longer Frozen has been out, the less crazy it is.
Actually as of right now (Sunday @10:30am) Frozen is only on a 20 minute standby.

Since the OP wants to do both, FEA has longer average waits than Soarin' and is a better use of FP.

Another vote to get an FP for Frozen and hit Soarin at RD. You could probably ride Soarin a couple times with little wait if you hit it first thing at RD.

Frozen hands down. You can get a FP for Soarin later in the day, if you can't hit it at rope drop.

True, but the OP said she'd be there in the afternoon, so it's unknown if she'd have time to do both. I'm going off a situation that she could only do one choice, which is why I suggested Soarin, as it's her favorite.
If she was there for rope drop, then I would definitely hit Soarin' and FP FEA.

Frozen has the longer line. Fast pass the longer line. Soaring has a bigger capacity that Frozen. In the late afternoon evening, the standby line isn't going to be huge and there is better chance for fast pass after doing Frozen.

Soarin' has had very short lines in the afternoon recently. A couple weeks ago I went at 4:00 pm and there were 7 whole people in front of me in the standby line before the FP merge. Wait was posted as 25 minutes, but we only waited probably 30 seconds before being assigned to a theater.

Right now, 4:30 in the afternoon:
Soarin' 30 minute wait (likely very short wait before FP merge)
Frozen Ever After 135 minute wait

Agree with everyone else. If you want to do both, you should FP Frozen. If you are okay to just do one, FP Soarin since it's your favorite.

We did Frozen once and it was fine but not a ride that I would wait more than 10 minutes for. We don't have young children anymore so that makes it easier. If you will be there early than I would say FP Frozen and go straight to Soarin when you enter the park.

FP Frozen and then on AK day FP "Flights of Passage" its Soar'in on steroids............you be happy you did. :)

Doug :goofy:

Are you planning to watch Illuminations? We have found that Soarin can be close to a walk-on right before park close when everyone is waiting for Illuminations to start.

I will never waste another FP on FEA. What a waste.

What else are you going to use it on at Epcot? Thought it was a good ride, but not great. I think Soarin is far and away the best ride and nothing else is close, but I can get 4th FP to it later in the day. It is better to use it on FEA with a long line if you want to do both.

Well, I always have extra FP so that's not a problem for me. Frankly, we will be skipping FEA unless the standby line is really short from now on. I love Frozen but the ride is horrible. I rode it once - done until I have grand kids at some point in the future.

It's not Stitch or Captain EO bad, but it is not worth any type of wait.

Are you most definitely going to ride them both either way? If yes, then Frozen, because the waits get longer. If you're willing to sacrifice the one that you don't have the FP for and not ride, then you pick your favorite which is Soarin.
