soarin' open?

Is soarin' open to us regular people yet? I know the official opening date is 5/5, but would love to get on between 4/16 and 4/23, do I have a chance?

If you're a passholder, the weekend of the 16-17th is a passholder preview. Otherwise, all I can suggest is that you cross your fingers & hope a CM grabs you to try it out. I know a lot of people have been able to get a sneak preview just by being around the general area.

Good luck! It's a great ride--we went on it in California a couple years ago, so we were excited to see it coming here....and we're going for the passholder preview.

I went over to Epcot 5 different times last week hoping to ride Soarin with no luck. I can wait for it to open. I will be there for the passholder preview.

Holly spoke to a CM at Epcot this weekend. Apparently they have been selecting some guests for some test "rides" during the week, usually later in the afternoon. They suggested hanging around outside the walled area of The Land or near the Imagination Pavillion.

I'll just wait for the Passholder Preview.

We just returned from WDW and found the same thing.

We chose not to wait as the lines were too long and we've been done it at California Adventure (and will be there again this summer, yay!!)

If you've never been, it may be worth the wait. Depends on you, the crowds etc.

It's really a cool attraction, though!

What llines? From what I understand, the CMs gather people and escort them into The Land and then Soarin'. There really isn't a place to line up for that sort of thing... Yet.
