How long have the waits been for the new Soarin' ride? Is there FastPass available for this ride?

This week the lineups have been 5-45 minute waits. FastPass is available and very efficient. It is in the Land area and very attainable.

It is a great ride. Use FastPass, what a great invention!

I can't wait to go on Soarin. I am so looking forward to it. Only 195 more days to go.

Well let me go work that OT and sell on Ebay to get the rest of this trip paid for!

I went right after the park opened (last week), and only had to wait a few minutes.

I just got home today and we rode Soarin' several times from May2- May 6 and the longest wait was posted 20 minutes but we were always on the next flight. Fast passes were available but we never had to use one. It is a great ride! My four year old loved it!

On May 6th, the lines were very long.

Earlier in the week, they were not bad at all.

On May 4th standyby wait time was 25 min when we went on for the first time in the afternoon.
On May 5th we got on first thing no problem
On May 7th standby wait time at 11:55ish was 60 minutes. Fastpass return time was 3:55P

FYI there is also a single rider line. When we went one last time yesterday afternoon about 2, the standby was 60 minutes and fast passes were about three hours out. Single rider line listed a zero minute wait.

Yesterday we arrived at the land probably shortly after 3:30.
As soon as we walked to the FP machines, the FPs were gone for the day.
And they were not allowing any single riders.
There was a 60 minute stand by wait.
I was surprised:
1) the FPs lasted as long as they did
2) they were not allowing single riders
3) the stand by wait was 60 minutes
4) they still had new Soarin' pins available to buy! :cool1: :goodvibes

We did not wait, as we can ride it some other time, and we rode Soarin' at the AP preview.
We did wait for the Land ride. The signage read it was a 15 wait. But it was a half hour wait. So hard to say if the 60 minute waiting listed for Soarin' was correct or not.

Hi,

I was at Epcot last week.

On Tuesday ( before the official Thursday opening) when I was there waits were 25mins.

On Friday night waits were approaching 80mins.

On Saturday fiirst thing the displacy said 20 mins but they were announcing 60mins wait so I took fast pass ( for about an hours time).

Later at about 12noon waits were heading back to 75mins.

No single riders.

( Mission Space was only offering 20min wait and Test Track 50min)

Regards

TBS

Just got back from Epcot. Regular line was 70 mins. Single rider line wasn't open. They were asking for single riders once you got nearer the load area.

JUst got back!

WORTH THE WAIT IF YOU HAVE to. The stand by was 85 minutes but got fast passes and no problem. LOved it and never made me feel sea sick or anything. the feeling of height was more than sea sick. Our fast passes were 3 hours after we got them so just walked in the showplace for awhile.

Five minute wait on Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday night (media event) it was too long, so we went back Friday to use the media fastpass (greatest invention known to man, btw.) But the FastPass machines were covered up. I can only assume they FPs were all used up? Not sure.
My rule: If you can see the line, it's too long. That queue can hold one heck of a line.
Still, it's a great, great ride.

I waited 80 minutes but i wish they opened the single rider line cause i REALLY was all alone!!

Thanks for all the great info! I hope DS and I get to ride Soarin' and we certainly don't mind the Single Rider line. I hope that's available if the lines are long. I'd prefer that to FP because this is a very short trip and we have some other things to try to fit in, as well.
