We rode 4 times...and have since come to the conclusion that this ride is addictive! Listening to the 50th Soundtrack my son and I were able to remember so many details of the "film"...you can even tell when the ride gives that little kick, as if you're accelerating up over something.

I have never in my life ridden a ride that has made me want to jump in the car and drive for 3 days just to do it again, lol!!!

My advice to anyone who hasn't ridden it...if you got Park Hoppers, try to be first in line for it every day. You'll regret it if you don't, lol!!!

Shoot...I was hoping they'd add something like this at Disney Quest...I had no idea that the Disney Quest in Chicago closed years ago!!!

Soaring was just amazing! Only got to ride it once though, we got fastpasses at about noon and they werent good till 6:30! I am so glad we got to ride it though!

Beth,
I do have to agree with you. The first time I rode it I must have spent at least 3/4 of the ride with my jaw resting firmly on my lap!!! We are bringing my step-daughter and her family to DLR in a few weeks. This is her first tripo since DCA opened. I have tried to explain it to her, but I know she thinks I'm nuts!! She'll just have see for herself. My DH actually says it may be better than Indy and StarTours!!!

Agree - we did it 3 times (including twice in 2 hours) and loved it.

We spent 4 days at both parks and it was the only ride all the family did 3 times together.

We love it too. We went last weekend with my parents, who have never been to DCA, and are not big theme park ride fans. They LOVED it -- and it takes alot to impress my mom, lol.

I can't personally agree (I get motion sickness too easily) but my older son (4 yrs old when we went last May) LOVES Soaring. Over the 4.5 days we spent at DL/DCA last May, he went SEVEN times (thank goodness my husband and MIL also enjoyed the ride - I went once and that was enough!)

We only got to do it once, but it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and the best ride we experienced! We did it first thing in the morning, too. DD(6) loved it as well, and all 3 of us were "oohing" and "aahing" the whole time - what an awesome ride!

Give this a try - Soarin has been recreated - you can "ride" it at home!!

This is great!!
I showed this to my DD and she started crying and saying she wants to go back...
She's a Daddy's Girl

I have to agree with everyone else. Soarin is awesome. My husband and I rode it twice and can't wait to get back next March to ride it again!

I agree that Soarin' is absolutely addictive. My mom used to make us go on "America the Beautiful" way back in the "olden days" and it's like a much better version of it.
