Soarin' Impact

I am relatively new to regular visits to WDW.Since I have become a regular guest Mickey's Philharmagic,Mission:Space,Stitch's Great Escape,Turtle Talk with Crush,and LMA have all opened.In my experience,Soarin' seems to have had a bigger impact on WDW than the others with seven hour Fastpass waits,etc.Do you agree?How does the opening of Soarin' compare to the opening of Splash Mountain,Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,Test Track,Tower of Terror and Rock n' Roller Coaster?Also,is it possible that the opening of Expedition:Everest could have the greatest opening impact in WDW history considering its mammoth size-it even comes with its own "village"?Thanks.

Having been to disney yet to see the impact from Soarin' has. Was at MGM during the soft opening of Rock n' Roller coaster. It wasn't that busy. No one know it was back there yet.

If I recall correctly, when TOT opened, the lines were LONG - that was before Fastpass, but I remember REALLY getting to take in all the details of the hotel - there sure was enough time.

I don't think Soarin is any more popular than say Test Track was when it opened. I think there was more buzz when Mission Space was opened. With the Internet today more people know about this things so that could impact the crowds.

Soarin' is the first attraction is quite a while that the whole family can enjoy together. Not a "thrill" ride. No coaster effect, no barf bags in sight. Plus, it's inside a pavilion with lots of other things, including a food court.

Expedition:Everest's opening will be big but it's not going to be an attraction for everyone. This might be one of the very few Disney attractions that I will never go on (fear of heights so AstroOrbiter won't see me on it anytime).
