Soarin FP after 2:30pm

for 8/31, we are booking the harder to get FP for frozen ride. If we use this and the secondary FP by 2:30pm what are the chances we can then get that Soarin FP for anytime before closing? Just FYI this is a slow time of year, but first night of Epcot food and wine , thank you !

If you are willing to regularly if not constantly check MDX, I like your chances.

Except mid-June after the blockout goes into effect for Silver and Weekday Select annual passes.

Was there two weeks ago and got Soarin' as a 4th (and 5th) FP for 4 of us after riding FEA with no problem.

We were at the Beach Club yesterday at the pool and I was able to get a Soarin for 820pm.

I believe that was around 3 or 4pm - for a party of 4.

Worked out great. We had dinner at Teppan Edo and went right to Soarin.

Also, Soarin' and FEA are no longer the major draws, thank AK and Pandora for that, even TSM is pretty mild generally lately.

Agreed. Crowds all over were lower than expected.

Maybe but you could get FP for Soarin' later in the day before Pandora opened.
FEA should have had the opposite effect with so many taking FEA over Soarin at 60 days, booking Soarin' day off.
It's mostly due to the added theater

I got one last Saturday --- booked it at about 6:15 and it was for 7:05. There were plenty of choices left at 6:15.

Yes. 2 weekends ago I basically walked on the ride around 5:00pm. That kind of crowd level won't last.

The third theater at Soarin' has definitely made a major difference. The lines have absolutely been shorter than they used to be, especially in the late afternoon and evening. Now I tend to use my Fastpass on Frozen Ever After, because I've found that if you go to Test Track at rope drop and then hustle over to Soarin', you can usually see both attractions in about an hour.
