Soarin' Facts

And there are two Hidden Mickeys in the movie. One on the golf ball and another as part of the fireworks at the end.

Soarin is Borin! This ride is only worth it if you get fast passes. When I got a fast pass there was a 100 minute wait. for a 5 minute ride. Worth it if you get the fast pass for it, not worth it if you are waiting 100 minutes.
Sing with me now:

"The cheese stands alone..."

Your'e right, I am probably the only one that feels that way.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Once you board the ride do they give you very much time to get buckled in? I have a 5 year old and I'll be needing to buckle him and then myself. Also I have a fear of heights so when you say 40 feet up can you actually notice how high you are or are you kinda oblivious to it?
:wave2:

Oh don't worry, the CM goes around and help out with the seat bealts, they don't go anywhere until everybody is buckled. And you won't notice the height, all you see is the screen in front of you.

We loved the ride, is so relaxing and the end is just ahhhh ohhhh!

Have fun!

Thanks it always helps me to relax a bit knowing before we get there. Informative post thanks again.

Thanks for this post. I didn't know we were so high in the air. I'm scared of heights, but I'll probably be okay. :) Looking forward to trying Soarin! I'll definitely FP it.

I was VERY happy that they imported this ride from California. Now if they would just also import Indiana Jones life would be complete :teeth:

I like row 1, no feet dangling. DW likes row 2 a little better. Didn't like seeing the hole in the dome. DGSs, 4yo and 6yo don't care which row they are in, they just love it.

Only problem with the ride I have is with the night lights section, must be because of my tri-focals.

With 4yo DGS sitting next to me I got him to raise feet way up along with me so we didn't hit the trees or people or mountain or wave tops or surfers... Lots of lifting and good exercise and didn't even have to pay extra for it.

Haven't ridden this one yet - going back for a quick trip after our 7-night eastern cruise which sets off in 32 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I digress...

When you say row 1, is that the row that is the highest up or the lowest to the ground? Thanks!

How long are the wait times 4 this ride? I know at Ca. Adv. u can expect to wait 45-100 without a fast pass?

In May when we rode the wait time ws about 90 minutes.....but I would have waited 120 minutes for this ride...it is so beautiful!!!! I bought the cd that has the music for soarin on it and whenever I am mad or angry, I just pop in the cd and close my eyes and I am on soarin again. The two time I rode I sat in row 1 as in the top and loved it.

I swear if I ever hit the lottery I am gonna have them build one of those rides in my back yard...that would be heaven on earth!!!!!! :goodvibes

Unfortunatly very few lotteries ever give out that much money. But I too would love one at my house.

One more Fact.

Great Hall: Before boarding, guests pass
through the Great Hall where five of Earth's biomes are depicted in
20-foot-wide panoramas, along with interesting facts and quizzes
displayed on large flat-screen monitors. The featured environments
are: polar ecosystem, mountain ecosystem, desert ecosystem, rain
forest ecosystem, temperate (deciduous) forest ecosystem.
