Soarin' Around the World Preview - Australia & China

60 days for FP's was 4/20, same night they changed how to get them, system crashed repeatedly. Hoping that won't happen tonight with Soarin' FP's. So excited because 6/17 is our last day. Not sure what other new rides/experiences will be ready by then since all we have gotten is "June". Keeping my fingers crossed for Soarin!

Somebody at Disney didn't get the memo about Soarin' Fastpass Plus being available on April 21. Tried to book them for June 17-20 but every day it says "Closed for refurbishment" or "Fastpass Service Unavailable"

Eek, I hadn't even thought about them changing the music! Fingers crossed they stay with the old music, not sure I can handle that much change at once, lol!

Looks good, but I do wonder what the music's gonna be. Are they going to use the old Soarin' theme, or are they using new music?

The music pretty much has to change. We're not talking just some simple, generic background music. In the classic Soarin attraction, the music is very much a part of the whole experience. With new video has to come new music.

And yes, I also think that the smells will change. Again, the smells are a part of the experience. If the new video doesn't soar past citrus trees, then an orange smell doesn't quite fit.

I would think this is something that could go either way. The could have saved money by keeping the current Patric safety video. But I suspect the entire video pre-show will be redone to maintain the theme of the main attraction. To go along with that they could bring in a different safety show/actor.

I hope Patrick is our chief Flight Attendant as well. I won't see it for a couple of years and it has nothing else that makes Soarin so much fun. Can't wait to see how people react to all of the ride.

I'm pretty sure he will be- I think they're only changing the ride itself's film.

I just booked my fast pass for Soarin for June 17th. Woo hoo! Can't wait!
