Ok, so I did Soarin' back in June when I was 6 weeks pregnant. It's a great ride, very gentle, just a seatbelt like my car. The safety video (with Krunk) doesn't mention people who are PG should not ride. Is there any reason why I shouldn't ride Soarin' this Oct when I'm 23 weeks PG? Having all ready been on it, I don't see why I shouldn't. The *only* question is the seatbelt, but my DH is way bigger than me (bigger around thanI will be then) and he fits with the seatbelt on.

Am I being silly?

i think thats just so they are not liable if someone like a drunk smoking preganant lady that went on soarin' and had a miscarriage doesnt sue them.

also, i gotta love the safety video, i could not stop laughing at "patrick"lol

No, you aren't being silly. It is understandable to have these sorts of questions being pregnant. :) I rode Soarin' three times on our last trip when I was 24 weeks pregnant. I also noticed that there weren't any warnings for pregnant woman on the ride and I was never questioned by anyone as it was a very gentle ride. I didn't have a problem with the seatbelt either. Have a great trip and enjoy! :teeth:

I'm so glad to hear that! People expect differnt behavior from PG people sometimes. In other countries, it's perfectly acceptable to have a glass of wine. Not so much in the US. I'm not going on TT or M:S, but I think I'm going to enjoy Soarin' a few times! And don't be surprised if I taste my husbands wine at the F&W Festival - just warning you now!

Nope, you're not being silly at all. We probably all have the same wrong 'habit' when it comes to seat belts. They're supposed to go across our laps, i.e. parallel to the floor, not across our bellies i.e. parallel to the seat back. This holds true for everyone, pregnant or not.
