Soaps Weekend 2007?

Hi all,

Does anyone know when the Soaps Weekend will be for 2007? I know this past November it was Nov. 11 & 12 - is it always around Veterans' Day weekend?

I've talked my dh into me having a "girls' weekend" during the Soaps weekend in 2007 (so I'm hoping it will be Veteran's Day weekend!)

i am just as interested...i know that they didn't release the dates until sept. last year though.

It is usually the second weekend in Nov.

Two years ago we hit upon Super Soap by accident. Our original girls weekend plans had fallen through and I suggested Disney never thinking my sister would go for it. Well, we are hooked --still talking about the last one and can't wait for the next one. As far as I know it is always the second weekend in November. This past year my daughter and I lucked out because we had extended our weekend on both ends to go to the Food and Wine Festival and to spend some time in the other parks and at the last minute they added a Luke and Laura special for Friday. They wanted $600 to change my sisters ticket at the last minute so she missed it. We also got a chance to hit the ABC commisary that Friday without the lines and picked up some cute show clothing and Super Soap memorbilia. We do not sleep in our car or wait on line for hours for an autograph but we enjoy all the events and get all the star's signed glossies and we have gotten some great photos while they are signing autographs or in the motorcades. Both nights end with a performance which is also fun to watch. Last year I waited to long to book a room on the Boardwalk (so we could walk to MGM) and couldn't get anything this year we booked at the Swan.
Not only did we get to enjoy Supersoap last year but we also got to see the Osborne lights, Food and Wine Fest and MVMCP so it was a very memorable weekend to say the least........

I saw the dates and we're planning on being there Nov. 7 - 12 at Saratoga (unless I can change it to Boardwalk or Beach Club). It's going to be a "girl's weekend". The other two don't particularly care for soaps - so I'm the fanatic and I can't wait! I probably won't wait for autographs but would like to take some good photos.

for those that have been - what usually happens? I've there is a parade - is that usually in the AM or in place of the 3pm parade? What's a good location for the parade?

Just looking for more info as I've never been to soap weekend before.

Nov 10 And 11 Is The Weekend For Soaps And So Is The Food Festival At Epcot We Are 5 (50+) Going For A Girls Week...we Arrive On The 11th Don't Know If We Will Get It In But Hopefully Catch A Glimpse Of Someone.. Can't Wait 7 Months To Go.

There are several motorcades that go on throughout the day, you can get the schedule when you walk into MGM every morning. The final parade in the Grand Motorcade and it is sunday night. The best place to sit for the motorcades is right in front of the stage on the right side, you can see the stage really well along with the stars as they are coming down the street. I love super soap weekend and unfortunatly i am going to miss it this year unless I can deliver my baby at MGM....LOL.
