Are all the parks extra crowded for this or just MGM?

I'll be there for a very brief trip this weekend, and the only thing I want to do in MGM is Rock and Roller coaster. I would go there first thing, except that Saturday morning I have an appointment (with Fairytale Weddings), which leaves only Sunday morning, which is EE at MK, which I thought would be good to take advantage of.

So... if I go in the middle of the day... will it be insane and impossible to get on RnR?

I can't answer your question so I'm just going to bump this back to page one for you.

It will probably not be insane and impossible to get ON Rock & Roller Coaster, but it may be insane and impossible to get TO Rock & Roller Coaster.

MGM will be packed on Super Soap days, but that tends to be around the Super Soap events. People come to the park to see the stars, not so much to ride the rides. You should run into normal mid-day crowd levels once you make it past the Super Soap crowds and into the R&R area.

:earsboy:

Thanks for the info! I hope I can find time to get on RnR... it's my favorite ride at WDW, and I didn't get to ride it my last trip, because it was broken down.

Attendence will be higher in general, but waits for non-SSW attractions will be pretty much the same as they would if SSW wasn't being held on that day.

My DD (12) was so bummed when I said we will have to avoid MGM this weekend due to SSW. Her favorite ride is R&RRC, she will be thrilled if we can make a trek over there. We were originally planning on staying clear until Monday.

Cheers,

Schuey

NO-ONE going to SSW will be riding RnR!:sad2: We all will be :hyper: with excitement at all the Soap Stars!::yes::

I was going to post a similar question. Since the excitement will all be at MGM will the other parks be crowded at all or what?
We were planning on MGM this friday but may hold off until Monday.
Any ideas of the attendance at the other parks?

You can find the wait times from last year's SSW at http://www.mgmstudios.org/wait.html and you can see the waits weren't anything terrible.
