Long day at the office, or just done with dinner?

Today, I hung out on the Golden Globes thread.

And then I ran out for a haircut. Haven't had one in nearly 4 months. For someone that works in corporate, that's not a good look.

Dinner time now. Need to go cook. But I should be around for a bit after that. Working for the next 2 days, so I better get my Dis done. You having an early one or a late one?

I haven't finished, but my comments will be about how I notice how HA accessible the place is! NOT! With both yours and Brandi's TRs, I keep noticing how a lot of the places we can't go. That's why we love WDW, carved curbs, easy ups and downs for scooters. We didn't end up at the travel show today because Fran said it would remind her of all the things she CAN'T do.

I wish I knew what I could do to get her out of this depression, but I can't do it. She's going to have to. She can't get excited about anything, even all these trips I keep planning, all she thinks about is what she can't do, not that there is fun to be had even without total mobility.

Really? So do they get painted after or are the left with sharp corners?

They don't paint them at all, they cut them in the box and ours were 58" and we needed about 56" (window size) so they probably cut 1 1/4 in off of each side, it was really cool, they put it in the cutter, program the computer, close the drawer and in 10 minutes the things are cut.

I know. I've been consciously thinking about HA since I've met you and Fran. The zoos I've been going to are great for HA as there are ramps everywhere. Australia is slowly getting better at this; but sometimes, it just isn't a consideration over here.

We are definitely stil thinking about Hawaii, I'm doing lite research. We may not have to stay at the volcano resort since Hilo is only an hours drive away. I want to stay on the west side of the Island in addition to staying in Hilo, but my mom has some filthy rich friends that have a 10 million dollar home there, and if she runs into them in the next year, will mention that we are coming. Perhaps we might get an invitation to stay in one of their master suites! I'm going to look into using our Hilton points for the Western Island side of the trip. I can't remember why staying in Kona was such a draw.

They are so masterfully cut, no one would EVER know they were cut! That's why I was saying how cool it is. they cut them in the box, so if you open the box and move things around you screw up their system. They took like 1 1/4 inches off of each side of the box since it was 58" and the wind0w was 56 "


Ok so here are the moves that got Basil adopted. We had already decided to take Pepper, but when we saw her doing this with him we decided we needed both of them.
