No sailing for Hawaii, used our DVC points for 3 nights at Aulani and traded with someone for Maui.



We use lots of Ziplock bags.

We do, yeah. A lot of pretty much everything except lamb and turkey.

Wow so my post in the drive through while picking up KFC won it for me! Good thing I grabbed my phone, I almost left without it!

I love Kerrygold butter, it's one of the best butters that you can get at a regular supermarket.

We always have too much too. When my parents lived on Elk Grove Blvd we use to joke we were going to go out and stop traffic until we got enough people to come clean up some of the food.

Don't give up hope, I was in my mid-forties before our first trip to Kauai. It's a beautiful island.

My parents took us to Maui when I was in 3rd grade. I went back in College with my first fiance, but to the big island. After that relationship ended my parents took us on our last all only immediate family trip back to the Big Island. That was 20+ years ago, I so want to go back with Fran. I'm thinking 2013, but she hasn't signed on to that one yet.

I know, but butters and creams tend to taste slightly different depending on what the animals have been fed, not to mention the ways that the actual product is processed.

Best butter I ever tasted was in Holland. DH and I were staying with a friend. His GF's family ran a farm....been there for generations. They had home made butter. And it was fantastic. Really creamy and smooth.

DCL Mexican Riviera out of LA, kids sail free promo. There's 24 of us on the cruise between my family, friends and DSIL's family.

We got roped into it since my sister has 3 kids so we have one of her kids in our cabin along with our DGS.
