Oh I am here off and on. Its really bad. I am not walking. Its tough to go to the bathroom. I have to lay on my right side, is that getting old. :sad2:

That's not getting old....That's just really hurting! Are you under doctor's care? I wouldn't be able to work right now without the meds from my spine and neck doctors and the PT. I hope you feel better soon; it's not good that you are getting worse....

We have an appt at the vet at 3:20, either the kitty will come back home or go to the rainbow bridge. We'll see if I feel like making cookies based on the outcome.

I'm so sorry! I hope it turns out okay. We have been through a lot with our kitties over the years. Our current one must have fallen yesterday and is limping but nothing seems broken; she's older (17?) and the weather out is bad today so we don't want to pay to go to the 24 hour vet.

Good morning.

Dana - Hope the cookies are going well.

Alison - Wondering how things at the vet went.

Usnuz -

Kathy -

Skiingfast and Queenie and everyone else - Good morning when you check in.

Second batch is in the oven now. I'm pretty sure Alison hasn't been to the vet yet, since she's two hours behind me and it's only 2pm here... I hope the kitty will be okay, one way or the other

Considering that Fran and I have been together 15 years (this month) and Pascha was an adult kitty when I arrived, I'd say she's probably the same age. She got an open sore on her head about 15 months ago. After numerous vet visits, salves and a lampshade on her head, she was finally diagnosed with cancer back in early June. She's had the bloody open sore, and it's just getting worse. However, she is still lovey dovey and has a voracious appetite. We're hoping the vet can tell us what would be best, if she's ready to go or not.

Good morning.

I't only 12:30PM so 2 1/2 hours until we leave.

Yup. Either she goes to sleep or comes home with us to bleed all over the place some more.

Just working on cleaning the house and stuff

Kitty is OK for now. She looks like bloody mess, but she gained an ounce since Nov. He said 95% is basically healthy and 5% looks like he!!. The tumor has not spread to her eye or mouth. He cut her nails and suggested we pick up some baby socks at Wal-Mart. He said to tape one on her foot every day so at least it would dull the scratching and she wouldn't do so much damage to herself.

Checking in to say I won't be on much...
Eyes are killing me from yesterday...

Alison - sounds like a good vet offering the best help he can. Hope those suggestions help.

usnuz - Hate people being in such pain. Hope you can gain more movement soon

Kathy :wave2:

PIO -
Hope you can make some more trip decisions as you go. I know how hard it is. I was tempted with Macau by the "Portuguese architecture" but it is in such poor condition and the whole 'Vegas" part doesn't attract me. But I was working with 4 days including HKDL.
Brother's boss and family is from Shanghai and they think Shenzhen is an awful place to go...you can get the same "crap" there :lmao:
And there is the 'danger' part of the counterfeit goods and bringing them across. Some people have had issues at HK airport.
[don't know any more details than that...just something I heard]

But we all have different tastes and it's why opinions differ and I've found something someone DIDN'T like...is a reason I want to do it.

Ok....
screen off...
eyes resting time...

Good news.

Yup. Glad you finally figured it out. :rotfl: Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy to listen to all sides and all opinions but I've never been one to base MY opinion on other people's inputs. That's fine for them but it might not actually be mine.

I figure you and I have some similarity in taste and then the wide gulf in between. Besides, I do have 11 full days to play with. I'll be in the position of being there and having the opportunity to go. Why waste it? Even if I don't like it (or hate it all), I would still have learnt something and seen different countries and cultures.

With the research I've done, I think I'll actually like the Portuguese architecture, crumbling or not. Afterall, a lot of English Heritage stuff is in the same boat or in worse condition and DH and I just loved visiting them. Aside from seeing what it is like now, we like imagining what it could have been like.

Shenzhen - again the same. I'm in two minds; but I suspect my parents will want to go. I don't want to do the shopping thing; but if it is there, I'll have a look. I figure it will give me and DH a taste for China.

He did say it was similar to rearranging deck furniture on the Titanic... :lmao: but we still have little Pascha, and just when Darcy cleaned all the Crime Scene evidence off the walls!

As long as Pascha is relatively healthy and not suffering, that's the main thing. Glad you got that confirmation from the vet and you can have that peace of mind. :thumbsup2

Good evening. It looks like I have some catching up to do.

Hi Queenie! Rest your eyes and check in soon!

Alison - Glad to hear that the kitty is okay! Prayer and Pixie Dust for her and I hope you manage to keep her sockies on!

Hi PIO! :wave2:

DisneyFirefly - Cookies sound so good right now!!!

I've been editing my Epcot trip pictures tonight while I watched "Sanctum" on HBO. What an story! And a true one at that! I had read a book a couple months ago about the cavers/divers who are exploring the deepest caves on earth so I had some background knowledge of this stuff. If you have the chance, this is an interesting, sad, and amazing story!

Back to pictures!
Kathy
