:wave2: Technically, I work 24/7/365 (although 366 this year). But I get paid for 3 days out of every week. :cutie:

So PIO, when you are not at work are you supposed to keep up on emails and do homework? Before I quit my last employer I had a Mon, Tues, Thurs, schedule but I was supposed to be on email all day on the days I wasn't in the office.

I don't get paid to work on Mondays and Thursdays. So 95% of the time, I don't.

My work smartphone also links to the work email. I might glance at it about once or twice a day just to check that nothing urgent has come up. But unless it is super super urgent, I don't respond.

My client has my personal mobile number for emergencies. In all the time I've worked part time, I think I've only ever been called in for an emergency meeting maybe three times.

But then.......

....I'm so efficient and effective at work :rolleyes1, that there is nothing that can't wait a day until I get back.

Alison - so, how was the Wine and Dine? I'll assume you'll post on your PTR but was it good?

Just got tasked with something specific at work in the arvo which ordinarily he on paternity leave would do.
Not moaning. Just needs sorting. But my brain is mush so early to bed tonight and I'll try and do it tomorrow.

Definitely not moaning as things are falling into place (fingers crossed)

I know why I didn't sleep last night really. But generally tireder this week I'm not sure why.

I wish more places had rostered days off in schedules. Dad gets one every two weeks (it's been that way in the past and as a long term employee he gets it)
Mum works in a private but governmentally structured place so gets one per month.

This is all in addition to statutory annual leave and sick leave.

Nearly home...........

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Goodnight to those departing and happy sleeping to those already asleep.

As for timezones. I've basically forgotten the USA tine differences. But my phone knows ;)
But I always know what time it is in the UK.

It's good you don't get disturbed really on your days off. Is your job of a nature you could work five days but two from home?? Just curious. Not saying it would suit you at all. Lol. :lmao:

Whilst it was tongue in cheek, I wasn't kidding about being efficient. I do the equivalent of 5 days work in 3.
I don't have the personality to work at home. I get way too lazy.

Safe travels. The afternoon nap worked wonders for me. I caught up on sleep that I missed out on 3 and 4 nights ago when it was really really hot.

I wish I could do that. That's I think the WORST part of my job. There is no 'right' answer.
Even if I had that absolute efficiency it's never that simple. Every move requires consultation...no matter how high up the chain.

Hope you have a nice night and Flyday...
