DH was nice today and took our dressy clothes to the cleaners, stopped at the store and picked up stuff for dinner. Can you say spoiled? or is it self preservation since I never know when I'll be home this time of year.

That's sweet of him!

It's hit or miss for me on the notifications.

I unsubscribed to the notification becuase they were filling up my email box.

If I don't get email notifications, I forget to go look at the threads, since I'm not in the habit of utilizing the user CP :lmao:

Can you take a nap together?

I wish. He did not take a nap at all this afternoon until I left the house to pick Xander up from preschool. The car usually does the trick.

kmedina, I hope you feel better soon. You have mentioned taking lots of Motrin & Tylenol for the headaches. Did you know these can cause "rebound" pain if you take them too much? So the headaches might get worse as you try to stop the meds.

And Tylenol clears thru the liver (you mentioned your liver function tests were off, I think). If you were taking the Tylenol when the blood work was done, that might be part of the problem.

I used to get bad headaches a lot & did the same thing with Tylenol & Motrin. Then my doctor gave me a prescription nasal allergy spray. I use it every day & hardly ever get headaches now.

Thanks for the assistance. I really appreciate it.

My neurologist did warn me about rebound headaches with meds and caffeine. I kicked the caffeine for a while and those headaches slowed down after intially getting worse. Meds are going to be harder for me to kick. Eventually, I gave in and started consuming caffeine again anyway. I need to kick both.

I was aware that pain meds can affect the liver. The Doctor said he did not think that was the issue, since they elevated during pregnancy. If they stay elevated after my most revent draw, he may revisit the possibility.

The nasal spray did not help me often, so I stopped using it all together. My Doctor explained that because I have cluster headaches (anyone who suffers from multiple types), there is no one fix. Spray helps with sinus headaches, which is one I suffer from often. My allergies are out of control. Headaches cause constricted blood vessels and constricted blood vessels cause headaches. My ECG showed a large amount of constricted blood vessels, which is the main cause of most of my headaches. I have learned some of my triggers but not all. I really think sleep is one of them though. I almost always wake up with a headache. It could be something in my house but what?

I tried nasal spray the DR. gave me and that didnt even work on me. I hope it may help Kmedina.

Me either.

Guess I was lucky; my headaches must have been allergies. I know how awful they can be. Hope she finds relief soon.

:rotfl2:

Yes, and/or sinus headaches.

We spent all morning in bed, ate some chicken soup. I have a fever now.

Feel better.

She doesn't have a fever, but she has a gurgly cough.

I hope she feels better too.

Of course you to. My headache finally got settled after two advil and a washcloth on my forehead.

Glad you're feeling better.

It's hit or miss for me on the notifications.

My last posts disappear every single day, so I just randomly check when I have time.

Time to take the dog outside for a break and off to sleep. Night Lasters.

I just keep randomly refreshing the UserCP. Especially on my phone. I just have it saved in my favorites. It's much easier than trying to click on that little link at the top of the page.

Getting tired, but I'm hungry, need some protein and all we have is carbs...

We had Thai food delivered, and I had some sushi. I didn't eat a lot of the rice and Pad Thai, so I think I'll heat up some more.

I put a little piece of roast in the crockpot ealier, and made the juices into gravy.
