So who's waitlisting for December already

I did put another posting on this board with a list of the dining reservations that I cancelled (15 of them) so everyone has another chance to get the reservations they wanted. The person at Disney Dining seemed surprised that I called, but I figured that it was the right thing to do.

Me too. I've been planning this trip for a while. But, my husband got a new job that he just couldn't turn down, so we had to tweak our vacation for this year. We're taking a 4 night Disney Cruise instead, so it's not TOO bad. I just hated to have to give up some of our hard to get dining arrangements, but since we're not going to WDW this year, it wouldn't have been right to keep them on the off-chance that we MIGHT be able to go down for a few days.

I'm starting to agree with you. Thought at 7 months out we'd probably get what we want. Now I'm starting to think that we won't get it. WL seems very sporadic for those of us who choose a weekly WL.

At least we won't have to move in the middle of our trip.

We'll be happy to be at BCV. I keep thinking of how easy it will be to go to Epcot to see the Christmas festivities!

Amazing, we got our wait list. We said we wanted a 2 bedroom at any resort and OKW came thru!

Never stayed there before - any building recommendations?

I'm starting to agree with you. Thought at 7 months out we'd probably get what we want. Now I'm starting to think that we won't get it. WL seems very sporadic for those of us who choose a weekly WL.

We'll be happy to be at BCV. I keep thinking of how easy it will be to go to Epcot to see the Christmas festivities!

You will love the BCV at Christmas! And you are right about walking to Epcot and also check out the Boardwalk, it's beautiful! You can still take a special trip (boatride) to the Wilderness from MK maybe and eat at Artist Point or just sit in the lobby by the fire and enjoy the tree.

You'll probably get it. We have friends that just got 12/3-12/7 in a 1BR at SSR fulfilled this week. They were on a weekly waitlist not day by day. I think they are probably releasing rooms due to the new units being close to completion. They had WL'd for a 1BR anywhere and got SSR. Good luck!
