So who's voting?

ME, ME, ME! Can't wait to see if the lottery gets passed in Tennessee.

I'm voting - and I will be singing the Hallelujah chorus when this election is over. I've never seen Georgia ads so nasty and negative as they've been this year. There's one out this week that has obviously taken something Gov. Barnes said out of context that makes it sound like he's practically killing children himself! We also get the Alabama ads on the Columbus station and they're just as bad!

Another voter here.

Please God, let there not be a runoff. I don't think I can take any more campain adds. Negative or positive, they all insult my intelligence.

atwdw -- good to know there is someone else out there undecided in that race. :)

I almost always vote. When I do, I think of my late grandma. We went to vote together the first time I was able to. She told me to vote (party name) all the way across. I did then, and I still do now.

I'll be voting. Please just let us not have any controversy this time!:p

I'm going to vote. Luckily I am off Tuesday so that makes it a bit easier. After I vote I'll be celebrating the end (for now) of all the mudslinging commercials on TV.

We always vote. Primaries, run offs, etc. It's a hassle to have both girls (5 & 2) with us when it's long lines, but we go.

I have to assist my wife in the booth also, and she would love to go independantly just once!

I always vote, and Tuesday is no exception. :)

I will as well. I will be grateful when the ads are over.

I am decided on Governer of PA, but the Congress I am undecided.

I will vote...would not miss it, though voting in this election is like voting for the lesser of the evils...really do not like either candidate for govenor...and the Green party is looking better and better

I'll be voting on Tuesday as well. The only year I've missed voting was 1998, and that was because I moved from GA to VA during the election season and couldn't register in time for here.

I'm curious to see what the turnout here in VA will be like since there's no major statewide race. The Governor was elected last year and Senator John Warner only has token opposition (a Libertarian and a Larouche-ite). NOVA and Tidewater have sales tax referendums, but other than that this election season has been ho-hum.

A little anecdote to share with everyone who thinks their vote doesn't count. About 12 years ago, when I was still in GA, my home town of about 6000 had a special election to fill a vacant city council seat. I'd almost forgotten about it until I was driving by the polling place and saw the signs, so I turned in and voted.

There were three candidates, and GA law requires a runoff if a candidate doesn't receive a majority of the votes. The next day I picked up the local paper (only published on Saturday and Wednesday) (yes, it's that small of a town) and saw the election results.

There was a tie.

For SECOND place!!

I don't remember the exact numbers, but the first place finisher did not have 50% and the other two had the same number of votes. And one of them was the candidate I voted for.

So first, the city had to have a runoff for second place, and then have a runoff to determine the winner.

All because of one vote.

So be sure to vote. You never know what kind of an impact you might have. :teeth:

I'm voting. We've got to get rid of our current Governor. Anyway, I'll be glad when the phone calls, mail outs and ads are over. I'm sick to death of them.

I will vote too, as I always do.
With this election, Michigan just may be getting their first female Governor.

I will. Hey serena what's your take on Julia Carson? I'm not a fan.

I am! Virginians vote yes on bonds for higher education!

Cooter vs. Cantor? Who wins?

I wish I could vote...two more years. I have been following the campaigns...if I could, I don't know who I would give my vote for governor to here in CA. I wish I could vote, though, so I could vote yes on a school bond measure being voted on here.
