So Whos Going In May?

We are finally taking that "someday" trip you talk about when you first take your small children for the first time to Disney way back when you woke up early, rushed off to the parks, each carried an exhausted passed out child over your shoulder at the end of the day. Yes, it is 15 years later...each of our children, now 17 and 20, are bringing a friend and we will simply "meet up" for all the PSs I've arranged, hoop-dee-doo etc. The greatest surprise I have planned is that they all know we are staying at OKW (stayed in a 2br 10 years ago!) what they don't know is that I booked a Grand Villa for the 8 nights! They are sure to be stunned. I love the set up with the 2 brs upstairs and the master *with that wonderful hottub * downstairs - my DH and I are acting more like kids looking forward to this long awaited reward of parenthood.

We were last to Disney two years ago and stayed at an All Stars Resort...it was a fun cheap way to re-discover WDW and really helped motivate us in planning this trip.

We will be at OKW may 14-22

We will be there on the 15th-??? Not sure exactly where we are staying yet but we did get a PS for the Castle so thats all I care about!

We will be there May 7 through the 22nd at the Contemporary. I can't wait. We've NEVER stayed 2 weeks before, but with my ds (20 months) and me being pregnant with our second child, dh and I want to take it slow and really enjoy everything.

Now we're just hoping for some good AP rates to help the cost!!!

How did everyone doing on getting the PS dining you wanted?
I got the one I wanted. When I go in Sept there are a few more places I want to try.

Has anyone done the Mickey Backyard BBQ ? We are going to try to do horseback riding and then the BBQ. Not until Sept so I have lots of time to get opinions on both.


I am hoping AP rates show up soon.

I made and got all the PS I wanted---I did this last week (for May 9 -14).

Sunday (arrival day) dinner at 'Ohana
Monday---lunch at RFC
Tuesday ---lunch at Sci-Fi and Fantamsic dinner pkg at H&V
Wednesday---epcot---DH said he didn't want to make any PS this day---and it's killing me because I want to have everything planned!!!
Thursday----MK, got dinner at Liberty Tree Traven.

Its getting closer...now if they would just release those dang AP rates for those of us needing them..

Oh and maybe the hours for each park too? (are they out I haven't checked in a few days)

We're going May 10 - May 20 and staying at CR for our honeymoon. We are staying on the Gold Plan and got at least 2 restaurant PS's per day (you have to eat a lot on this plan!) and PS's for 3 backstage tours, fishing excursion, and golf tee time/lessons. It was a very stressful 10 days making all of those PS's, it may have been more work then planning the entire wedding! I need a vacation! Hope you all have a great time!

We had no problem getting the PS we wanted. CRT was tough getting a decent time. But on my second try, they had a cancellation and I grabbed it.

We got all of the times and places that we wanted, except for breakfast at the Crystal Palace on DW's birthday. So we opted for lunch there. We got right in via 3 cell phones, and a land line to CRT, so our princesses will be happy.

Many others including Hoop Dee Do Revue. We may also catch the Backyard BBQ.

Me, DD 18, DS 16, DS 14 are going to be at FW cabins May 29-June 6 for our second trip ever!

We'll be there May 7 and we're staying at Royal Pacific and/or POFQ! I got a great rate for our air tickets! We booked our flight first then our hotel.

We (Me, DH, DD8 and DD6) will be there May 27th (well, it will probably be the 28th by the time we get to the hotel!) through June 4th. DH has a conference at CSR June 2-4. This will be our first trip EVER to Disney and we are VERY excited!

I'm at 71 days out and all I think about is what I'm going to do everyday while I'm in Disney..my co-workers think I'm nuts and my daughter says "No MOM leave it as it is I want to get up at 6:30 to go to MK for the Early magic hour."

So I guess I have to find another hobby for the next few weeks since I have everything done so early.
Anyone else in same boat?

Heres hoping AP discounts are released soon so I can stop playing with the what if's.
