I loved him! I forgot about it being on last night and did not turn it on until about 9. Thank goodness I was in time to see him sing and dance (and make Sarah Jessica Parker) join him.

Great Show!
Wish I lived close to NY to see him!

Missed him singing and dancing...was he good? I cannot believe this man has THAT much talent!

he did the opening number, "One Night Only", with the trios from "Hairspray", "Little Shop of Horrors" and "Caroline or change", as well as the Rockettes (it IS Radio City after all). and later in the show, he did a song from "The Boy From Oz" and he had Sarah Jessica Parker get up on the stage and dance with him. he truly captured Peter Allen -- he deserved the Tony he won!

and the buzz is that during the commercial breaks, he had Sean combs come up on stage to sing a duet of "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" -- Hugh played Curly in the most recent London production of "Oklahoma!"

He invited the audience to join him in a sing-along, but not everyone knew the lyrics -- including Sean Combs, who was sitting in the front row. So Jackman invited the hip-hop impresario onstage to learn the song. "I'll sing the first verse and you follow me," Jackman said.

After a tentative start, Combs warmed to the challenge and robustly followed Jackman's lead. Then Jackman introduced his wife to the audience, brought her to the stage and walked her over to Combs, pointing to the large, sparkling bauble around her neck.

"Sean," he said, "now that is bling!"

I saw the first hour or so and PVR'd the rest. Haven't watched it yet, but I plan to do so soon. Hugh Jackman is simply amazing.

Hugh Jackman did do a great job. It was one of the most entertaining award shows ever.

I was thrilled to see Idina Menzel win for Best Actress in a Musical. She really deserved it. She is so incredible in wicked. I was in hysterics when she thanked her "beautiful husband who tells me he loves me everytime I feel like a loser."

Great show, though. Great performances last night.

I was not a Hugh Jackman fan, until I saw him Sunday night! WOW! He did a good job last year hosting the Tonys, but this year he was fantastic. Just from the number he did I can tell he really deserved the Best Actor Award.

And I was cheering when Avenue Q won! I have been dying to see this show for the longest time. I've got the orginal cast music and it's great! So glad to see the little guy win!
