So who is changing dates for Free Dining?

I wish we could change ours to sometime in December, but we cannot due to work schedules. We are not actually taking advantage of FD in August anyway, as our 40% worked out to be a better deal-by about $20

I had originally booked Oct 24-30 but had to change to Oct 9-15 because my DHs work schedule changed...He called over the weekend and said it was gonna change again and so I had to change the dates back to the 24-30. Glad that the change worked in my favor and that we will get FD because the 9-15 is blacked out...already had my room changed and dining res made so all I had to do was sit on hold for 30 mins to apply the package discount to my existing....kind of worried about the crowds though....never been during FD. Hoping that the folks with balcked out dates get a great room discount!!! Good luck to you all!!

kind of changed my dates, did a room only reservation for the first night of our stay (did not plan on going to the parks anyway) and got free dining for the rest of our stay

We bumped our trip back a week. Our original reservation was for 12/5-11, and we saved just under $1100 by changing to 12/12-18. Still managed to get the same dining reservations, within 15 minutes or so. I'm a little worried to be away so close to Christmas, because that's my busy time, but I'll just keep reminding myself that I'm at Disney.

I was scheduled to check in on 12/9, pushed it to 12/10... May do a room only on the 9th if I can get cheaper airfare still that day and just skip out on the parks on arrival night!

It's only saving us about $200/room (2 adults 1 child under 3 in 2 rooms) but now we have food!

I had booked POP for the end of October before there was any FD offer available, but when the first FD dates came out I changed our dates and resort to end of September at CBR because of the cheaper prices. Tonight I switched back to POP for the end of October. Our kids have a four day weekend then so they will only have to miss a few days of school.

We did...moved up two days and saved around $800 plus got more Disney time.

Changed ours from Dec 9-14 to 11-16! I went to SWA first to make sure the change wouldn't cost too much. Never know with airfare. Well I saved $13 on airfare by the change!

We had a room only, hoping that AP would have a discount, but since I have not purchased an AP yet, I took the one in the hand! Right now, we estimate it is saving us at least $800, and probably closer to $1100.

I calculated with the AP discount of 42%, which was the highest I've seen, the FD was still cheaper. (I just won't be doing any long weekends with my frequent flyer miles this year since there's no need to get the AP)

I moved our trip backwards 3 days to take advantage of free dining.

We were to check in 10/10 and leave 10/17 so I added 3 days checking in on 10/07 and saved 100.00 plus got 3 more days and food. Also airline ticket was 22.00 cheaper for my daughter flying in. We are all happy campers!!!
