So who is all going this August/Septemer?!

We'll be there Aug 31-Sept 6. We booked the free dining promotion last year during bounceback and we haven't told our girls yet. We plan on surprising them with the news the day that we leave. I can't wait!

:cool1: I can feel your excitement! Last year my dd, then 9, thought we were going to Virginia. The expression on her face when she found out just before boarding our plane that we were headed for Disney was priceless! Dopey me forgot to have my camera ready:sad2: Wishing you and your family a magical time!!:dance3:

DD(4) and I will be there September 10-17th. It is our first trip! I have been living and breathing Disney since last October when I booked it, absorbing as much information as I can. 5 months doesn't seem far to me now!! (actually 4 1/2, but who's counting?!?!)

We'll be there August 29 thru September 7th!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Have each day with what park were going to for 7 days and we are gonna do a water park this year which we have never been to. 7 of us going and I have been planning for a good 5 months now so I am hoping time starts moving faster so we can get it done. :cool2:

Annie1995 Where are you staying as much of our time overlaps?
:thumbsup2

We are going 9/9 through 9/16 and we can't wait either! We go every year at this time. The heat is bad, but the price is good (especially with free dining) and the crowds are thinner so it's worth it. Right now we are planning our days and getting excited. One month before we leave we have a "countdown party" and the kids play Disney games and make big countdown calendars. They mark of the days until the big day arrives and it's time to go. It helps make the last month pass a little quicker. We are also looking for pins on Ebay (each child gets to pick three to start with) so they will be ready to trade when we get there! :)

Free dining Aug 27- Sept 1st. The best part is DD doent know. Dh kept saying NO to disney this year, he didnt want to go. So I planned November without him. I was booking all the details and he said too bad we couldnt go this summer. I told him about free dining and we booked it in under 10 min from conversation to putting the deposit down.

So DD will be so excited!!!!!

We are going Sept 13-20 with free dinning. We are doing a grandgathering with our very bestest friends and their children who have never been to Disney. They have charged me with planning everything because they don't have any idea what they want to do or where to eat...so of course I have planned the ultimate experience with BBB and Character Dinning! FUN FUN FUN

We will have 6 children between the families and to break the news we had a "planning" party where the kids got to help me choose some of the resturants and activities. Since then we have started a treasure box and when one of them thinks of something they want, or I see it on sale at the Dis store online, we grab it up and put it in the box. I have told all the children that they will get a "goodie" bag the day we leave out for the trip.

Also, twice a month I host a "work' day in which the kiddos can pick up rocks, pull weeds and help with other household chores to earn Dis Dollars for their own Dis Wallet!

Finally, like the pp mentioned, we are having a kick off party the first last weekend in August to make final plans and such. I have fun Disney inspired activities that I want to do with them. This is a surprise though so...shhhhhh....

Happy Planning...131 days to go:banana:
