I would love to hear your hotel recommendations for London!

TIA!

What price-range are you thinking of?

Two of my personal favorites are the Gore and the Stafford.
The Gore is small charming, South Kesington and moderately
priced. I think it starts at L150 for a double inclusive of tax.
The Stafford is a real charmer, very near St. James Palace and
Green Park. It's a little more pricey, probably starts around L250
but could be cheaper if you run into a low season rate. Both of these are small and have double beds with real English atmosphere. What are your priorities? Location? Price? Bed size?

Kristen, you'll get more advice on London if you post on the UK community board.

You can get some excellent deals on Priceline and Expedia. Do remember many London ( UK and Europe as well) hotels would only have one double bed and if you are a family of more than 2 you need to make sure the hotel you book into has suitable rooms.

It really helps people to answer these types of questions if you can give as much information as possible. Group size, interests, areas you're looking at, price range, time of year, ages etc. The more information that is in the original request, the easier it is for you to get accurate and relevent answers.

You'll get some great ideas on things to do, tour plans and excursions on the UK board if you ask.

Duh. I feel so stupid! I don't know why I didn't think to post on the UK board in the first place! Thanks to those who responded!
I'm going to hop over there now.

For an amazing luxury hotel that's way out of my price range (we stayed becuse of a british air strike and the trip insurance paid) is the (I'll spell it wrong) Rennasance Chauncery Court. It is simply amazing, but you need to be a rock star to pay to stay there! Free toblerone in the lobby, and the most wonderful (30 pound) buffet breakfast!
