We will be doing the CP this year, its always a special night for our family. Last year we ate in Japan and loved it. I was wondering if any one had had dinner in China and what did you think of it. Thanks for your help in advance.

DH and I had dinner in China in January and thought it was great! We had excellent, quick service and a wonderful meal. Right outside the China pavilion is also a pretty good place to watch Illuminations!

Lunch at China and we thought it was good and service was also. That said I've many post's that are not to thrilled with the food at China. Many also think it is way overpriced.:earsboy: :sunny: :earsgirl:

I'm pretty sure you are talking about the sit down restaurant in China, but just in case you aren't, we ate at the Lotus Blossom for dinner one night. We got 3 boxes of sweet & sour pork, which came with an egg roll & fried rice. And it was good! Sure, it wasn't the best, to die for Chinese food I have ever had in my whole entire life...but it tasted fine, was hot, and I believe it was $6.30 for a big box of food. I do have to say that it is outdoor seating, sort of....there are walls all around, and a quasi ceiling (Beams going across I think) and little cut-outs in the walls....it was stifling hot in there and I was so grumpy by the time dinner was over, I had to back track to Mexico to get a margarita. They really need ceiling fans in there! So, if you grab a bite at the Lotus Blossom, and it's hot and humid, find somewhere else to eat besides their seating area!!

We ate at Nine Dragons in China last Friday night and it was fantastic. They have revamped their menu, and it was wonderful. I did not eat there back when everyone was saying how bad it was, so I have no comparison. Our party of four was all vegetarians and they had more vegetarian selections available than any restaurant I could find in WDW except for Boma (We ate there, too.) or California Grill. The service was excellent and the restaurant is really nice inside. We also got a table by the window and were able to see everyone walking through world showcase as well as the kiosk with all the Chinese toys while we ate. I give it a 10. Try it!

Thanks so much. I suppose it is Nine Dragons, it is sit down , its with the CP dinner package. I almost feel like just doing Japan again, but then after hearing about you guys experience, I think we will be going to China before the CP. Thanks so much.
