You know, this parenting thing really isn't all that easy, lol. I sure didn't know what I was signing up for when I had my dd 19 years ago.
My dd Ashli is taking her first long distance trip by herself today. Ughh! She's a good kid, with a good head on her shoulders but still... She's taken lots of roadtrips with girlfriends and those don't worry me but this one is solo and that does worry me. Oh well, I know this is a part of growing up and it's really a good thing but I'll feel better after she has a few of these under her belt, lol.

Yep I would say never as well...I'm 32 and my mother lives with US and she still worries, except now she worries about my DH and DS too.

Mine is 25 and married and I still worry about her. My dear nephew is 20 in the Army and headed to Iraq and I can just feel the hairs turning gray worrying about him. So, I guess we parents never stop worry about our kids.

my mom was in here looking at disney stuff on my name and saw this post..she started almost crying (sappy!!) because my friend and i are going away to florida in may by ourselves..were both 19 and just goin to relax afer a year of college..but she agrees she never stops worrying!
