I've heard the step sisters are hilarous but the food is horrible. Would you use a TS there or pick someplace else? There will be me, my DD13 , my sister, 7 yr old niece and my 12 yr old nephew.

We were just there last week for dinner. It was a great time and my 4 1/2 yr old daughter went gaga over Prince Charming and Cinderella. Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters were hysterical. If my boys will tolerate it again for their baby sister, I would not hesitate to go back. We enjoyed the food. Is it as good as a 2 ticket restaurant on the dining plan, probably not, but it was fine for a dinner buffet and I do not feel like I was ripped off. We went to Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast last week also and I feel like that was a rip off for the 2 tickets (or out-of-pocket price if not on the dining plan). We were rushed in and out and you only had 3 food options for the adults and I think 2 options for the kids. My kids do better with buffets. There was not nearly as much princess interaction at the Royal Table - I would do Akershus for lunch in EPCOT and 1900 Park Fare for dinner on the next trip to see all of the princesses and skip the Royal Table. Fine to say we did it once, but wouldn't do again. Just my two cents. I am sure others have different opinions. And, Prince Charming was NOT at CRT breakfast. It was really cool because my daughter had the chance to dance with him. I had tears in my eyes as I photographed her in her princess gown during her 'first ball dance'. Too much fun. Good luck with your decision and have an awesome trip regardless of what you decide to do!

We liked both the food and the entertainment. The room was really loud, but that didn't bother us. The buffet had a good variety of different foods. They had the adult buffet and a kid buffet with the usual chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and pizza. My kids ate from both buffets. We thought it was one of the better buffets at Disney, we would definelty go back. Make sure you try the strawberry soup, its the best!

We eat there every trip and really enjoy it. It's not a 5 star meal but it is lots of fun.

I cried when our dd got to dance with the Prince - he even kissed her hand - priceless!!!

we really enjoyed the whole experience at dinner. There were a few things we didn't like, but that's true at any buffet. Some things were outstanding...like that strawberry soup.

They just don't have as much variety on the buffet as CP or CM but we found what they offered was quite good. My personal favorite is the asparagus soup!

I will be at 1900 Park Fare for dinner on December 9th. I can't wait. :goodvibes I like the food and the characters interaction there.

We went this past June and it was the best meal we ever had there. In the past it was just so-so but we really enjoyed the food this time. The stepsisters were hysterical.

We have eaten at the Park Fare on our last two trips and we loved it not only for the incredibly awesome, comical show but also for the delicious food :woohoo: We found it far superior to our experience as Chef Mickey's (where we will not eat again!).

We are eating here for the first time in December and I too have been reading a ton of mixed reviews on this place. I am actually excited about seeing the Step Family, we saw them in MK and they were hilarious there. As for the food, it is a buffet so you are going to get things that you won't like, but then there are probably going to be things that you will like....I am not too worried about it. Besides, even though I do read the reviews, I take them with a grain of salt because the reviews are just opinions and I like to be my own critic. So I say go and enjoy yourself :goodvibes

I can honestly tell ya the food is bad bad bad, the service is terrible and the long wait past our ADR time was even worse but the characters are incredible. BUT...I would never eat there again....even the kids were not happy with the food choices and we all left feeling a bit hungry and unsatisfied

I think you guys have convinced me to give it a try. Thanks everyone! Disers are the best!:lovestruc

We loved the characters and didn't like the food at all. I guess we're in the minority here LOL

We really like this one. We have done it several times for dinner, most recently in June and food, entertainment and service were all great. I think anyone can have a bad experience anyplace but that doesn't mean you will!

Its funny, this one used to get the best reviews years ago, then suddenly it was the punching bag of dinner buffets! I avoided it for a couple of years based on bad reviews then went back and found it as good as it had always been with the stepsisters adding a new fun twist to the character aspect.

I think it has a great selection, far more than Chef Mickey's (which I also like).

I thought food was excellent. Agree the wait time past ADR is ridiculous but cannot blame staff. Disney needs to set time limit on some of these character buffets. Quick story. In Aug. had res at 645 for party of 8 we show up 20 min early & wait quite awhile. They did say they were running late. A few of us go out front to take pics with vintage cars & carriage. Brother calls to say table is ready after some time. Well, he is not the kind of person to stand his ground (go figure 6'2", 300# & does not throw weight around so to speak) on our way to being seated tells me they are splitting our party up into 2 tables back to back & in that horrible side room. I ask to see manager and Start out by saying "not that you can do anything about it but I am unhappy & we booked this res. way in advance & that it is unacceptable that we cannot sit together". The manager was awesome she said follow me it may be a few minutes longer but we'll get you all together. When we went out front to the hostess stand to check on a table I saw on the monitor that the table we were going to get the people had been there for 3 FREAKIN HOURS! OMG!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I think 2 hours max should be the rule that is more than ample time to eat and see characters. Well when these people left I clapped rather loudly & said thank God it is about time but as expected these people were oblivious and could not care less. After all that it was an awesome night. DD7 was asked to dance with Cinderella & Prince Charming. This memory is priceless. I will never forget it.

This was one of my favorite meals on my trip last week. The character interaction was the best I've seen and the food, while not fantastic, was still good. It has less selection than some of the other buffets, and some of the selections I avoided because they didn't look appetizing, but there were enough choices that I had a good meal. I will say that the carved meat was very fatty and dry and almost inedible, but the salads and many of the other dishes were very tasty. I loved the dessert tarts!
