A few things have happened in the 20 hours I haven't posted anything.

Last night we got all of our toiletries. I got the new Maybelline BB cream that's also an acne treatment, but for some reason it's a bit of a different shade than the same BB cream with the same number and description by the same brand? Sigh. Make up your mind, Maybelline.

Roxie got all of her shots today. She needed 2 more before we could board her for the trip next week and she's feeling a little under the weather now. Not really moving or eating. Hopefully this is normal. If she's not feeling better by tomorrow, I'll be a little bit more concerned.

I also have a driving lesson tomorrow! I've actually completed my 6 hours, but I'm retaking them because I'm not a great driver. I was supposed to get my license on my birthday a month ago. Sigh.

Tonight I'm seeing Grease with my mom at the Papermill Playhouse. I love the PMP. I'm gonna try to meet Tommy Bracco afterwards- he's in Disney's Newsies on Broadway, but took a little break to be in Grease. Telly Leung is also there. He was Wes on Glee.

Hi again. Decided I would do a "what's in my bag" tag, but first...

GREASE IS THE WOOooOORD!

So I saw Grease on Sunday night and it was FANTASTIC. Well, I mean, the show itself can only be so good but the production we saw was FANTASTIC! The band was on stage and the amount of talent in the show was phenomenal. In fact, the music and dancing was so good I almost forgot about the terrible plot line of Grease: The Musical. But hey- I'll watch any show live at least once

I met some pretty great people afterwards.

This is Tommy Bracco. He's usually in Newsies on Broadway, but he's currently Sonny in Grease for a limited engagement. He is the cutest human being ever and he has such a wonderful stage presence. I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw him on stage. He's literally perfect and he was so sweet at stagedoor. He's famous for his sassy kissy lip pictures so I asked for one kissy lip pic and one nice one. The guy taking our photo caught us in the middle of both. I like this one better than the kissy lip one and the nice ones seperately. He is the best. Human. EVER.

This is Telly Leung. He was a warbler on Glee and he was Teen Angel in Grease. He's perfect. Literally flawless. He's so talented and nice I couldn't believe it.​

Okay, okay. That's enough of that. Just had to get that off my chest because, well, I loved that. It was a nice treat for me considering Newsies announced their closing an hour before I left. Performances end August 24th. Sigh.

I decided I would do a "what's in my bag" tag to show you guys how I'm packing my backpack. I need a backpack that I can carry around to the parks, but will also hold all the things I'm bringing to Disney World in general. This is how I've organized it.

This is my backpack. Standard VS PINK backpack. Vibrant pink bag I can easily identify.

This is what I put in the body of my bag. My iPad (case includes an iPhone and iPad charger), Nintendo DS and charger, my makeup, and two journals and pens for recording everything I'm gonna put in the TR. The little one titled "My Journal" is super cute and helpful, by the way, because it gives you little prompts on what to write as well as additional space for notes.

This is what I put in the side pouches. One pouch has my cake batter chapstick and hair ties for a beauty emergency. The other pouch has all the earrings I could want (since I love wearing studs every day).

Finally, in the front pouch, we have all of my other hair stuff. As you can see, I'm really big on bows. And headbands. They're cute and keep the hair away from my face. And hey, look- the bows from my first update are here

As for the bows, you can get them here! Ashley does great work and produces high quality bows for between 7 and 12 dollars a bow.

And yeah- I love earrings. LOL. I buy 16-packs of them off of the clearance rack at Claires for $5

A week from today, right now, my family will be waking up at a Fairfield Inn in Kingsland, GA. We'll be grabbing a bite from the continental breakfast table, getting back in the car, and finishing the remaining hours of travel to get to Disney World.

This is the first time I have been able to say that in over 4 years.

Okay. Breathe.

I'm literally freaking at the moment because I'm so excited. I just keep thinking over and over again about how amazing it's gonna feel to see the castle again and to step onto main street and to see mickey mouse and eat a mickey waffle and it's all so surreal.

I compiled a playlist of songs on my phone for my family to play in the car today.

Counting down from the time the vacation begins (AKA, departure) it's only 2 days now, 3 until we get to Disney *HEAVY BREATHING*

Today was exciting.

First I was supposed to volunteer at the library. But my usual librarian wasn't there so I was just kinda like hmm, nope, and went home.

I hung around for a couple of hours and took a shower. Then it was time to send Roxie off to Roxdane kennels for a couple of hours!

Roxdane is really pretty.

As you can tell, Roxie was highly interested in what they had to sell. She didn't want to go inside, though. She got very scared and nervy and didn't want to go inside with the woman who brought out the leash for her. I feel bad for her, but I know she's gonna have fun with the other puppies.

We also saw this gem on our way out, and she melted my heart.

Then we stopped by my dad's office to say hello to him and got some Burger King for lunch. Their new chicken strips are really good, by the way.

Finally, we got mani-pedis!

I got two new things for me- a dark color polish, and square nails. I usually like brighter colors and round nails, but I wanted change today. I like the way it came out a lot! The only thing was that it took waaaaaaaaay longer than it should to get the mani-pedi. We were in the salon for 2 hours. Yeesh.

Hi.

I want to welcome everyone to my final installment of this PTR! (And also, HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! )

Woke up today, had some waffles, watched 1776 and here I am now. Cause I mean, what would a Fourth of July be without watching the greatest musical about America of all time?

Oh 1776. How I wish the world could see what I see when I watch you.​

I was planning on making this a bit closer to departure, but since we've decided spur of the moment to leave before midnight instead of 1:00 and I still need to shower and watch like 2 episodes of The Office, I guess this is the final installment of this PTR.

I want to thank you all for reading, especially those who have been following my journey since I began it. Even if there are only one or two of you. The months leading up to tonight have all been so very special and wonderful, not to mention incredibly long . Since I haven't been to Disney World in so long, it means the world to me that I was able to share my thoughts with everyone as I went on this journey together. Omg. I'm so happy right now

I'll catch ya when I come home from that magical place we all dream of.
