So whatever happened to "Tigger"?

Given that the boy died, I'd think that it couldn't possibly have been "worth" it. The fact that they paid at all is an indication that Disney didn't think they could win.

I think there are a lot of reasons Disney would settle without going to court. I would like to think that they did it to help the family, but I doubt any company these days is that noble. I think Disney just wanted to keep it out of the news. Even if they won in court they would lose the publicity battle. I could see the headlines now, "Disney sticks it to grieving family". I don’t think they would have lost a court battle on this case.
 
I believe the primary claim in the lawsuit was over Disney not having a defibrilator on the scene, not that the boy had issues on the ride itself.

Given that, I don't think any of us could make a prediction on the outcome with any kind certainty.
