Are you in the race for something very special?

I haven't seen anything that I must have this year, believe it or not.

I think the only place I am going to go this year is Joann's!

I am looking for a good deal on ipod shuffles, though.

I have to agree this is the first year I am just like blah on the BF deals. Either I already must own everything..hahahaha...or there's really nothing out there. Id like to get the hard drive at target but thats about it.

I don't have any "must have's" for BF...the adds are all just ok in my opinion. Unless you are in the market for TV's/electronics/video games, or if you have little kids (under 5) I'm not seeing ANYTHING that jumps out at me.

But of course I'll still go...I have to be part of the mayhem!:rotfl2:

Yeah, I think I've seen like... 100 tv's on sale... we don't need any. ha ha

I even looked for relative's presents, but nothing jumped out on me. I think I might swing by walmart for a pair or two of the 8.00 jeans, because I need some for myself, but everything was just... blah.

i only have one must-have: a new printer.
other items i want to get:
blu-ray player
digital picture frame
clothes for DD (cute jeans and tops at wal-mart and some stuff at old navy)
flash drive for digital picture frame

I am heading to Target this year. I have my eye on an Xbox 360 for my husband and a Digital camera for my parents. Since my husband works at Target I get a 10% discount and I have a target credit card so I get 5% on top of that

I've done my Christmas shopping already but I do have my eye on some sheets and towels at WalMart that will be on sale. I could use some more. Everything I have is showing it's age and is starting to become threadbare.

I agree I'm not in the market for a big ticket electronic item so everything else is kinda like eh. Now my ds is saying he doesn't want Tech Decks after we bought him a pool on clearance. I was going to get him the ramp from WM. UGH! The only other thing I think we'll get are Wii games. That's about it for me this year. I usually buy what I want during the year. We bought our last HDTV online a couple of years ago as a Thanksgiving Day special. Of course it was $500 for a Sony 32" Bravia but that was a great deal at the time. Oh well now they are so cheap. :rolleyes1 I'll probably just stay home and shop online instead.

For my nephew, I want to get the Thomas starter set with bonus Percy from TRU. I already got one from Target with the 50% off coupon but it doesn't have Percy. I'm not too thrilled about going to TRU on Thanksgiving evening but if I make it there, great. If not then he can just have the Target set.

I want a stick vac ($8 at WalMart, $9 at Target). Ours is kind of broken.

My husband is looking at bluerays with built in wifi.

We usually only end up buying stuff for ourselves on Black Friday. :confused3

I am looking for electric scooters. Anyone seen any in the ads so far. My kids are older so I'm looking for the ones that go 12 mph. not 10

I have a list but I have less stops on my list this year.

Thanksgiving
Big Lots - $20 Cricut cartridges (7AM)

Michaels - I may get one of the $28 Cricut cartridges, and some scrapbook embellishments that are 50% off + 30% off your purchase coupon. But I am not going to run out and go when they open at 5PM, because there is nothing I NEED.

Walmart @Midnight - Cricut Lite cartridges for $20, maybe cheap towels depending on the chaos, cheap DVD's, look at photo frame pack

Friday
Target - This is the main stop: 2TB external HD for $69, $29 Digital Picture Frame, $28 Foreman Grill, Simpsons Series DVD $9.99, Casino Royale $2, look at their photo frame pack. Open at 4, I am heading out at 3AM. I was going to get the Lego HP Wii game, but I got it from lego.com already.

JC Penny - Just to pick up the Disney mini globe. I don't think there is anything in the ad that I need. Maybe some new pillows, and if I don't get cheap towels at Walmart.

Sears - Depending on time, I may go pick up some tool doorbusters. We have a new house, and need everything. I should have bought them on the Friends & Family night, but I wasn't sure about the prices that day vs BF. Turned out they were the same, so I missed out on the additional 20%.

JoAnns - (6AM) $28 Cricut cartridges. Last year, our store only let like 5 people in the store at a time so not to overwhelm the Cricut rack. I am getting there early, in case they do that again. Whenever I get done with Penny's/Sears.

Walmart - again. I also need a flash drive, and they have one cheap but not until 5AM. I am not going there at 5, because I am sure there will be no parking. But it is only half a mile from our house, so I will check in on the way home to see if they have any left.

Disney Store - I may go out there, but it is a bit of a drive. I am not doing the midnight thing. Although, I did consider it if I wanted to stay up all night.

But no Kohls, no Best Buy, no Staples/OfficeDepot/Office Max, no Toys R Us

Saturday
JoAnns again - I need the ribbon holder thingy for my scraproom. Just annoyed that I have to get up early again.

I think I'm going to Michaels for the 3.00 scrapbooking albums. I don't want to fight to get a tv or any of the gaming electronics this year. I am a little disappointed by the sales this year, though.

I am looking for a bread maker and a food processor. I also need a toaster and little bit wider crockpot. The other thing we will get is a roku box.

Where are you getting your joanns info?

I want 2 of the stick vacs and external hard drives for the college kids. And we are hopeful for an apple store sale. No info on that yet.

TV and Blu Ray player. Would like a Sandisk USB drive as well. Plus a bunch of movies and TV shows on DvD/Blu-Ray.
