So what is with this box of doughnuts snack

I keep reading on here about people buying a box of doughnuts or cookies for a snack credit and then eating them all week for breakfast. My question is, how big are these boxes. Anyone take a picture?

We got a box of Entermanns donuts at POP food court for a snack credit. I think there was 12, or maybe it was only 10, full size cake donuts in a box. We got a box and used them for breakfast.

That's a great deal! This whole time I thought it was the mini-donuts!

Note that while they aren't mini-donuts, they're not the size you see at donut shops either. They're about 3 inches in diameter. I did three for breakfast one morning, and I'm not a big eater.

If your local grocery store carries them, it's the same product. Pop had the 12 ct variety pack and the pop'ems.

When we were there in Sept ('06) POP only had an eight count (not 12) variety pack (and a bag of powdered mini's).

I should have edited to add that it varied during the week (maybe as Entemann's restocked??!) The 8ct are bigger donuts (and better tasting, in our opinion) than the 12 ct. The pop 'ems were glazed and we like them better than the powdered minis. (of course we buy entemann's at home sometimes too)


We probably used 4 snack credits over the week on donuts and got at least 3 different kinds. If they had the Rich Frosted Donuts we'd have bought 28 boxes and bought a suitcase to bring them home! YUM! LOL

We were there last week and got the variety box(8)donuts and couldn't eat more than 2 a day. I just read that 1/2 gallon of milk is also a snack credit ..........Man,I wish I had know that last week(we were involved in the fridge swap)! Dh loved the cereal/milk combo=1snack credit for his bed time snack. He's a cereal lover!

Each time we have been there we have been able to get the powdered popettes. I don't know about your families but my girls can almost finish a box of those by themselves in one morning. I might be able to stretch it into 2 mornings if I tried!

No matter what you get, they are a great use of snack credits!
