I guess it';s only fair I post mine....I am a RN. I work per diem at the hospital on the oncology floor and full time with a home care agency (as in I go into people's homes once they are discharged from the hospital to take care of a wound, teach them how to give medicines, take acre of IVs, and so on).


It seems as if some have email access at work.....I wish I did! Then again I would prob get fired cause my day would be spent on here, rather than seeing patients!

I work retail ....sorta. I am in the simming pool industry. Family has been doing it for over 50 years. Myself I have worked in the industry for at least 18 years .

I work with my Dad now. We have 7 locations and internet. However to customers i am just the girl who can help them with their chemicals.

I work for a non-profit foster care & adoption agency...I take people who are interested in being foster parents, evaluate them, do paperwork with them, and train them to take care of some tough, needy children. (Technically my job title is Program Development Specialist, but that tells you nothing...)

I have my own business, my passion is antiques, and so I buy and sell antique jewelry. I am in a co-op on Cape Cod... and love what I do. DH is retired from his job, he was an equity trader at Fidelity Inv for 36 years before he got sick. I also am a full time wife and caretaker to this wonderful man who worked hard his whole life and never even got to retire....he went out sick.....I used to also be a TA, but when DH got sick, I could not put in the time...I am on a leave from that.

So....here is my message, live for today. Go for every moment, do not let the small things get in your way because you never know what is around the corner.

and hugs to all of you, but most especially, Starann, I know what you do every day.. I see it when I go for chemo with DH or when we go to see the doctor.. there is a special place for the nurses who work with oncology patients....truly.
